Here I was thinking I should read the description for instructions on how to get the deal.

Thank you. Everywhere in my area is sold out already. That is why it wasn't coming up for me. Closest is about 50 miles.

I got one in NC. $288 after tax. Chatted about some surface scratches, got $28 more off. $260 total for a wide yak with a raised seat. Not bad.

I regret not pulling the trigger on this. Has anyone seen it at this price before?

I bought this kayak a couple days before for $350, so I purchased it again for $280 with in-store pickup. They did the swap and it was a done deal. The kayak is stable, but slow. I am used to my faster kayaks, but it was a nice deal for a second out of state vacation kayak. The back support was good. I may get another for my home state when the price is this low again.

Let us know if you have any other thoughts on it. For a sit on fishing yak with elevated seat it's hard to beat that price.

The back support is the best part of the kayak. I had no pain. Bi could turn around band everything...

The worst is that it was slow. I had to paddle up river, that we not fun. The current would try to take and turn me.

When I first got the kayak, I let my wife use it and I use the one I had for a few years. I was beating her up river which is not unusual... But she was so far behind. I thought she was just out of shape. She got the current and struggled. I went back to get her... Now I know why she did that. I gave her that one because it was stable and had back support, think I'm giver her the better. I did, but it is not great for currents.

Other than. That, it tracked well. It did not want to turn left and right which each stroke and stayed on course when I stopped paddling.

I have 5 kayaks. Two lifetime kayaks, tamerack and Teton. My other kayaks are faster and more narrow. They all have a place and the Teton is good for stable waters and fishing for a long time. Lots of room!

thank you for your feedback. I'm planning on using it for fishing and was thinking about dropping a kayak trolling motor on it. Hopefully that can help a bit with the speed issue. there is a river not too far from my house that I would like to explore a bit! i have a tandem hobie that is too big for me to manage by myself and i think this would be great to quickly load on top of my car.
