The back support is the best part of the kayak. I had no pain. Bi could turn around band everything...
The worst is that it was slow. I had to paddle up river, that we not fun. The current would try to take and turn me.
When I first got the kayak, I let my wife use it and I use the one I had for a few years. I was beating her up river which is not unusual... But she was so far behind. I thought she was just out of shape. She got the current and struggled. I went back to get her... Now I know why she did that. I gave her that one because it was stable and had back support, think I'm giver her the better. I did, but it is not great for currents.
Other than. That, it tracked well. It did not want to turn left and right which each stroke and stayed on course when I stopped paddling.
I have 5 kayaks. Two lifetime kayaks, tamerack and Teton. My other kayaks are faster and more narrow. They all have a place and the Teton is good for stable waters and fishing for a long time. Lots of room!
