I had these and had to buy android version as well. Used these green on my iPad and the black android on my note 9. The only button that works on the iOS ones for android is play pause ( middle) button

Photo looks like standard headphone jack...but made for apple?
Do volume buttons work for Android? I had once thought it was universal standard but one set of headphones I got was not cross compatible for the inline buttons.

These have been around several years (since before the iPhone 7, when iphone still had a headphone jack). The in-line buttons will still work with lightning adapters, but their age explains the confusion.

Why spend $40 on this pair when you can find a bluetooth pair for a much better price tag?
Sound quality is likely better on these than most Bluetooth headphones you'll find in the <$40 price range.

I had the SIE2I, and the rubber (latex?) cord started to come apart, and got incredibly sticky everywhere. You could see the exposed wire in a half dozen places. It was only used indoors and gently. It did take a while to get to this stage. I was as surprised as I was disappointed for I have a few Bose products that have stood the test of time. These are definitely not designed to last long, just look at the gage of the cord/wire. But for $40, it's hard to complain, even if it lasts 2 or 3 years.

Don't run or workout in these, the right earphone started to cut off after 6 months of running in them. I actually bought the SIE2i model w/c is supposed to be sweatproof. I ended up sending it back for repair, but have to pay for shipping.
