While what you say is true they are a heck of a lot easier to CLEAN than the standard convection ovens. With a nonstick one about all you have to do is rinse it out with the sprayer a few times in the sink and maybe dry it off unless you wanna run the heat a couple of minutes to do that for you.

These things do a great job at crisping things up, don't get me wrong, there is no substitute for deep frying. But this is definitely a great lower calorie alternative.

$37 after BS $5 shipping charge and tax for me but still a good deal for one this size. Only similar deal posted ended up being a price m-i-s-t-a-k-e. If you plan to use heavily it might be worth investing in the warranty depending on how much it was.

I think Costco is a better fryer if you can pay 50 but for the size this is slick! Not fancy buttons though .

True, you can save like 15 calories per mozzarella stick, breaded chicken wing, bacon wrapped sausage, and cream cheese filled jalapeno popper. Each 50 of them and it adds up quick. Before you know it, boom, spring break beach ready.

I can't speak for this one. But I know Costco's return policy's are one of the best.. I bought the gourmia from Costco for 50$ and definitely don't regret it.
