I had this for 2 years now. It's sturdy as a table in it's lowest position. But if you raise it from it's lowest position it gets wobbly. It's unusable when raised. Plus the electronic module had a recall. Up to you whether it's worth it or not.
Nice, I've had the same one from Office Depot for three years now, use it everyday, very sturdy and works well!
Not if you're trying to stand.

How does it compare to the IKEA galant or bekant?
the ikea desk is one of the lowest rated in many review sites. it is not even that cheap.

I have two of these and have had them for a few years now. I love them, they are definitely easier to lower them then raise them; but if you can span your arms front to back in the center it helps raise it.

I dont think mine are wobbly at all at their highest positions, if yours wobbles... I would tighten up all the bolts again.

I use the one for my desktop/dual monitor setup and the other for vinyl graphics work at the highest position alot too. I'm 6'3" and the height is great.

One thing to point out is that this is larger in depth and width than most on the market, if you compare. I really like having extra space on the desks for my label printers, speakers, peripherals. I even use the lower/raise handle to hang my headset on, it works ironically well for that too.
What is the depth size? it is not specified on the site.=

Got this last year. Don't buy the control does not work. They sent me a recall notice.
Yeah I saw reports of the electric one being wobbly and having the control module recalled but, why are we talking about that model anyway? Just wondering.

Purely off memory, I thinks it's 30" x 60".

edit: Confirmed just now, it is listed under Product Details, just lower in the dimensions description.

This has a 5-year limited warranty, plus I'm sure you could buy a plan for not that much if needed.

if the concern is a whole desk going bad and you want a more reliable standing to sitting function, get a solid deep desk and buy a veridesk to go on top of the desk to switch from sitting to standing. I used a veridesk for 3 years at my last job and it uses tried and true old style garage door type spring system. Desks that move up and down seem to have longevity issues regardless of type. The price to do so will be a lot more, would need to be thinking about the long run in doing so. The convenience of the whole desk adjusting is another consideration.

Cannot find any places offering replacement pneumatic parts for the desk, anyone have to get those replaced on their desks yet, and if so was it easy? seems this, the slides and the top laminate quality are the biggest downsides that for the cost of this are easy to ignore if the parts can be procured.

To anyone that's thinking of spending the extra cash for the electric model, I should warn you that the electric model is much more wobbly than the pneumatic. I went into the store to witness this first-hand and I had no problem putting money down for this pneumatic model.

The minimum height shows 30". Isn't that a bit high if you want to sit? I'm 5'7" and the height of my desk when I'm sitting is 27". Any higher and I'd have to raise my chair, which will cause my feet to no longer sit flat on the ground, otherwise my arms would need to be at an awkward angle when I type on my keyboard.

Yes, the problem with gas cylinders is they will often stop working, as the gas escapes over time. I don't get why they didn't just go with a manual crank if they didn't want to install an electric motor.

Picked one up 3 years ago and been using it daily. Works great. I prefer it to electric since I can pull it up / bring it down much faster (my work desk is electric and it takes forever). Cons are: can't put more than ~20lbs on it, or you'll have a tough time lifting it quickly. Height at minimum may be too tall, and height at max may be too short. At my 6'2" I feel it fits well at both extremes, but I had to use an adjustable monitor mount to help. Doesn't wobble as much as other adjustable desks, but it still wobbles. Pretty large desk space (not necessarily a con).
