I don't know if you will find a self defrost in the 7cu size, but you can in a 10.1cu from homedepot. I have been using a 4.5cu for years and had to defrost ever so often and was a pain with that little freezer shelf inside the fridge, so I just bought the aforementioned 10.1cu. It is only 3 inches wider than my old one but 60 inches tall, and the old one was 30 inches. The 10.1 is 2 doors with freezer on top and I now have room for over a case of water, case of monster, and plenty more room for sodas and snacks. Was a little pricey even on sale but so far it is great. It was $338 on sale for the black one.
Don't give up on looking for what you want, but get the biggest you can for the room you have.

It's pretty much silent most of the time, it did have some humming when using max cold settings from during the summer but its gone now.
