This is an excellent deal even without consideration for the No-Rush Shipping credit. It's 19.67 cents per ounce, which is lower than my purchase price point of 21.9 cents.

I buy a lot of mp3s from Amazon, so I personally count each $1 credit as being worth around 30 to 35 cents, which makes this deal even hotter.

Thanks! I ordered the multipack for S&S, but I was afraid we would run out before the ship date. This is perfect timing - arriving tomorrow. Saved me a trip to Walmart.

I may be mistaken but isn't cavity-only toothpaste too basic?

toothpaste is just something to make brushing less boring. your toothbrush bristles do all the work. the flavor, foaming, etc, is for fun. unless you're talking about kids and fluoride which is a whole other issue.

Look for stannous fluoride, it is much better for your teeth.

I still don't know how Amazon can afford to ship these cheap items out. Shipping cost is probably more than double the cost of item. I know Prime is $120 a year but I guarantee they lost money on me last year.

Yeah, Amazon's $119/year Prime membership is certainly a loss leader for you, me, and many deal hunters. However, most people don't shop the way we do. For example, I have friends with Prime who order fewer than 12 times a year, but Prime is worth it to them for the short-on-time-I-need-next-day-shipping occasions, especially because there are other benefits such as Prime Video. Also, many people with Prime have a lower tendency of shopping around with other retailers, so Amazon gets more orders that way.

I've been placing 350+ orders per year for many years, and I usually do No-Rush Shipping to get the credits that I use to purchase mp3s, which I would purchase anyway if I didn't have the credits.
