I hate to debate on a forum like this about hand soap but antibacterial hand soap is NOT the most important factor in why there is antimicrobial drug resistance.

One of the most important factors and reasons why we have had this problem is either misuse of antibiotics and because of patients who do not finish their courses of prescribed antibiotics because they feel better after a few days and do not finish their course. You are still infected and need to continue the entire course to prevent the bacteria from a possible continued infection and more so we can prevent mutations into superbugs. This is already happening. Source: Am a doctor and have served in 1st and 3rd world countries where this happens frequently. MRSA is a b.

It's less expensive than Costco's normal price of (I think) $10 for 160 oz.

It's more expensive than Costco's sale price. (It's not on sale right now at Costco but when it is, they have a coupon for a few bucks off if I recall.)

Don't want to be negative but shouldn't antibacterial be banned by now?

I think certain chemicals are banned. Not all.
But yes, use with precautions.

"Additionally, there are some antibacterial additives in soaps that are not subject to the FDA's recent ruling. Many companies have replaced the banned ingredients, like triclosan, with one of these three not banned ingredients, and the FDA has granted these companies another year to demonstrate these additives are safe and effective."

Another major factor is the use of antibiotics on factory farms.

Costco has normal non scented at 0.05 per ounce, this deal is for scented ones , which comes out to be 0.055 per ounce after gift card, red card gives extra 5%.

I personally like scented ones, not a bad deal for those.
