$80 off select sets of tires, it's live Jan 13th-14th. If you're in the market, here's a list so you can see what promos combine in case they work for your vehicle

https://www.discounttiredirect.co...flash-sale

The Goodyear tires in bold qualify for the flash sale plus both current Goodyear rebates

Goodyear $50 rebate on any set:
https://www.discounttiredirect.co...res-rebate

-plus-

Goodyear has an additional $25/50/75 rebate for qualifying sets:
https://www.discounttiredirect.co...year-tires

>$75-Assurance WeatherReady, Eagle Exhilarate, Wrangler AT Adv. w/Kevlar

>$50-Wrangler DuraTrac, Assurance ComforTred Touring, Assurance MaxLife, Wrangler Fortitude HT (excl. C-Type)

>$25-Assurance All-Season, Ultra Grip Ice/WRT/LT, WinterCommand/LT, Wrangler TrailRunner AT, Eagle Sport All-Season (excl. ROF+SCT)

Bridgestone doesn't have any qualifying tires for the flash sale but they do have a $70 rebate (excludes Blizzak):
https://www.discounttiredirect.co...res-rebate

Also, you can receive an additional $20 or $40 rebate if using/applying for a Discount Tire credit card:
https://www.discounttiredirect.co...redit-card
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I purchased some winter tires from DTD a couple months ago. The tires I received were dated 2014, so be sure to check what they send you. They took them back, no questions asked, but I had to request FedEx pick them up since I wasn't going to load them and drop them off myself. They refused to sell another set to me as the other ones might also be old (they didn't pull them off the website) and wouldn't price match on another set of comparable quality.

After other issues with the regular discounttire.com website ordering, I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company.

For clarification (having only used DT once, and DTD never)... this has nothing to do with in-store prices (like, walking into a B&M DT store), right?

I need to throw a couple cheapo tires on a beater car I'm having towed to a mechanic tomorrow, so I was just gonna throw a couple $50 Walmart tires on there, pretty much solely for the trip (and then to use as full-size spares for whatever life they have left in 'em afterward).

The rebate amounts for the discounttire.com store are the same, only you'll have to follow the promotions link there instead of mine. About the $80 flash sale, they typically match online prices/promos if you ask, give them a call.

Discount tire and discount tire direct is the same store in a sense, only discounttiredirect.com ships to your door while discounttire.com you'll go to your local store after you place your order. We'll see if the $80 flash sale works there too come tomorrow, if not, just order from direct then take them to your local discount tire for installation, I think it's $20/ea

It's live, I went ahead and bought the DuraTrac's for my truck. It appears the DT site doesn't have the automatic $80 off so I purchased from DTD. Besides, that mister rebate guy gives another 4% which I won't get if I call for a price match. The price to my door after cash back and rebates is $671 for a set of 256/65-18's ($823.96 after $80 off, -$50 rebate, another -$50 rebate, then a -$20 rebate and 4% cash back on $823.96). I'll still have to pay (I think) $86 to have them installed. This is my first time buying tires for my truck (Silverado 1500), ouch...

I got a flat that's not repairable and my other factory tires are close to needing replaced anyway. This is the best deal I can find right now so I'm sharing in case anybody else can't make it to the memorial day sales.

So you're able to double dip and get two rebates, correct?

There's nothing saying you can't. One has an exclusion saying it won't work with some other DTD rebates but the second Goodyear rebate is a manufacturer rebate, not DTD so it shouldn't matter. Plus, it shows both rebates as eligible on the product page (for my case with the DuraTrac's anyway)

edit***
I did a chat with DTD to verify:

Me: Hi Eben, I wanted to verify all rebates do combine with the flash sale?
Me: I see the tires I want have a $50 DTD rebate, a $50 manufacturer rebate and a $20 rebate for using my DTD credit
Eben: Thanks for chatting today. Any additional rebates that are available for a tire set you would still be eligible for

Just bought duratracs last Thursday the 9th. Looks like I can at least get the mail in rebate. Thanks!

FWIW, my experience with DT was fantastic- ordered tires Wednesday at noon, they shipped them by end of day and I arrived the next morning 30min before opening to get the "first come first serve". (Seattle snow storm, so 13 people ended up lined up by opening). I was out the door in 35minutes after opening, no joke. I even sat and watched to make sure they balanced them.
They don't do alignments though, but otherwise fantastic experience.

It states on the website that it apples to select tires and wheels. Does wheels mean rims? and which ones since the list only shows tires

The $80 is removed from qualifying sets of tires, you don't need to purchase wheels/rims.

Looking for most miles? Assurance MaxLife. Best traction for all seasons? Assurance WeatherReady. MaxLife qualifies for -$80 off plus $100 in manufacturer rebates and additional $20-40 if you use DTD credit. WeatherReady qualifies for the same except $125 in manufacturer rebates instead of $100.
