After other issues with the regular discounttire.com website ordering, I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company.

I need to throw a couple cheapo tires on a beater car I'm having towed to a mechanic tomorrow, so I was just gonna throw a couple $50 Walmart tires on there, pretty much solely for the trip (and then to use as full-size spares for whatever life they have left in 'em afterward).

The rebate amounts for the discounttire.com store are the same, only you'll have to follow the promotions link there instead of mine. About the $80 flash sale, they typically match online prices/promos if you ask, give them a call.
Discount tire and discount tire direct is the same store in a sense, only discounttiredirect.com ships to your door while discounttire.com you'll go to your local store after you place your order. We'll see if the $80 flash sale works there too come tomorrow, if not, just order from direct then take them to your local discount tire for installation, I think it's $20/ea
I got a flat that's not repairable and my other factory tires are close to needing replaced anyway. This is the best deal I can find right now so I'm sharing in case anybody else can't make it to the memorial day sales.

I did a chat with DTD to verify:
Me: Hi Eben, I wanted to verify all rebates do combine with the flash sale?
Me: I see the tires I want have a $50 DTD rebate, a $50 manufacturer rebate and a $20 rebate for using my DTD credit
Eben: Thanks for chatting today. Any additional rebates that are available for a tire set you would still be eligible for
FWIW, my experience with DT was fantastic- ordered tires Wednesday at noon, they shipped them by end of day and I arrived the next morning 30min before opening to get the "first come first serve". (Seattle snow storm, so 13 people ended up lined up by opening). I was out the door in 35minutes after opening, no joke. I even sat and watched to make sure they balanced them.
They don't do alignments though, but otherwise fantastic experience.

The $80 is removed from qualifying sets of tires, you don't need to purchase wheels/rims.
Looking for most miles? Assurance MaxLife. Best traction for all seasons? Assurance WeatherReady. MaxLife qualifies for -$80 off plus $100 in manufacturer rebates and additional $20-40 if you use DTD credit. WeatherReady qualifies for the same except $125 in manufacturer rebates instead of $100.
