Submit your furry friend to be considered in TODAY's "Best in Show" contest! All you have to do is the give us the following information in the form below:

A description of your dog and why you think he or she is the best. Please do this in the "Description" field after selecting your photos to upload. Your description must be 500 words or less to be considered.
Please note: Only dogs that are older than 6 months are eligible for consideration due to certain travel restrictions.

open to U.S. residents of the contiguous 48 states.

The deadline to send your entry is 12 p.m. EST on Friday, Jan. 31.

SELECTION OF FINALISTS AND WINNER: There will be three (3) rounds of judging: Round 1: Initial Judging to Determine the Semifinalists; Round 2: Judging to Determine the Finalists; and, Round 3: Judging to Determine the Winner.
Round 1: Initial Judging to Determine the Semifinalists: On or about February 3, 2020, a panel of qualified judges selected by Sponsors ("Judges") will review all eligible Entries received during the Contest Period and select up to twelve (12) semifinalists ("Semifinalists," each a "Semifinalist") based on the following judging criteria ("Judging Criteria"): Originality (33.33%), Creativity (33.33%), and Appropriateness to Theme (33.33%). Each Semifinalist will advance to Round 2: Judging to Determine the Finalists, subject to verification of eligibility. The selection and review process may occur on a rolling basis as Entries are received. In the event of a tie, the Judges will break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Judges for Originality as a potential Semifinalist. Sponsors reserve the right to pick fewer than twelve (12) Semifinalist (or none at all), or to extend the Contest Entry Period if the Contest does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion.
Round 2: Judging to Determine the Finalists: On or about February 4, 2020, Sponsors will contact each Semifinalist and conduct an interview (e.g., on Skype, by phone, or in-person) ("Interview"), after which they will select six (6) potential Finalists ("Finalists," each a "Finalist") based on the Judging Criteria. Determination of Finalists is subject to participation in Interview, verification of eligibility, and compliance with these Official Rules. In the event of a tie, the Judges will break the tie by selecting the tied entrant who received the highest points from the Judges for Originality as a potential Finalist.
Each Finalist will win the Finalist Prize (defined below) and advance to Round 3: Judging to Determine Winner.
Potential Finalists must be able to provide proof or verification of ownership of Dogs (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion) as a condition of continued eligibility. Dogs must be in good health (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion) and eligible and/or able to travel via air transportation on a carrier of Sponsors' choice.

Round 3: On-air Competition to Determine Winner: On or about February 19, 2020, Finalists and their Dogs will take part in a competition ("Competition") on the TODAY Show. One (1) or more qualified judges ("TODAY Show Judges") will review the performances of the Finalists and their Dogs and will select one (1) Finalist as the winner ("Winner") based on the Competition judging criteria as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion ("Competition Judging Criteria").

FINALIST PRIZE: There will be six (6) Finalist prizes ("Finalist Prizes," each a "Finalist Prize") awarded to Finalists; one (1) Finalist Prize will be awarded to each Finalist. Each Finalist Prize will consist of the following: a trip for Finalist and his/her Dog to New York, NY ("NY Trip") to appear on the TODAY Show and the opportunity to take part in the Competition on February 19, 2020. NY Trip includes roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for Finalist and his/her Dog from a major commercial airport near Finalist's home (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion) to New York, NY, and one (1) night accommodations (single room, double occupancy, room and tax only) at a hotel in or around New York, NY as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion.
GRAND PRIZE: There will be one (1) grand prize ("Grand Prize") awarded to the Winner. Grand Prize will consist of the following: a trip for Winner and one (1) guest ("Guest") to Los Angeles, CA ("LA Trip"). LA Trip includes roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for Winner and Guest from a major commercial airport near Winner's home (as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion) to Los Angeles, CA; two (2) night's accommodations (single room, double occupancy, room and tax only) at a hotel in or around Los Angeles, CA as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion; and two (2) VIP tickets for Winner and Guest to the Beverly Hills Dog Show presented by Purina scheduled to take place on February 29, 2020 at the Pomona Fairplex, Pomona, CA ("Event").
Finalist Prize and Grand Prize may collectively be referred to herein as "Prizes," each a "Prize." NY Trip and LA Trip may collectively be referred to herein as "Trips," each a "Trip."
Prizes are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by issuer. Restrictions may apply. PRIZES DO NOT INCLUDE PARKING, ACCOMODATIONS OR TRANSPORTION OTHER THAN SPECIFIED ABOVE.
Estimated Retail Value ("ERV") of each Finalist Prize is two thousand dollars ($2,000). ERV of Grand Prize is four thousand dollars ($4,000). ERV of all Prizes is sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000).

Finalists must be available to travel February 18, 2020 through February 19, 2020 (or on such other dates designated by Sponsors). Winner must be available to travel February 28, 2020 through March 1, 2020 (or on such other dates designated by Sponsors).
