For those who need a service like this, use Privacy(dot)com. It's free and it lets you create virtual credit cards that you can use for stuff like this. You can set specific per-charge limits so they can't charge you more than they're supposed to. You can also set recurring or one time, or a specific length of time for the virtual card to be active. I use it for all of my free trials and stuff. I don't even need to cancel the trails anymore since I set the card to close after a specific date.
I used Visible for one month last year when they were giving out free phones for signing up with them.

Visible's customer service was shockingly poor. There was no way to contact them by phone or email. The only customer service available was by online chat. If they could not resolve your issue in one chat session, you had to contact them again and start completely over with a new representative.

Multiple times the chat representative told me my problem had been escalated and someone would contact me, but I was not contacted in any way, by phone or by email, other than to receive surveys about their customer service. You can guess my responses.

If you deal with Visible, plan on having technical and billing issues, and plan on not being able to resolve them with their customer service.
Just be careful guys. They charged me $5 $20 and $25.

I have some very very old t-mobile pre-pay phones with imei #'s printed inside that don't power on. Doesn't say android or windows os but can tried the imei #'s on Visiible site & says they are swappable just not android. Can I send these in or they have to have android os ? THanks in advance
Wondering if I can do this too. I did what someone else said and typed in the MEID EC minus the last 2 digits and it let me go to the swap screen... It's a flip phone from 2008 basically, not android. It's very similar to this. https://www.samsung.com/us/suppor...g-tracfone

Also wondering how they could even charge me too since I paid with a prepaid card that has a 30 dollar limit if I send in this flip phone. Can they invoice it somehow?

I initially did this with a moto e5 play but thinking of just sending them this flip phone instead.

So just so I have this clear, even though I placed my order following the directions in the post to swap an old phone, and at check out even though it says total due today is $13 (for taxes.. ), that is a glitch and I will NOT get charged for that???

I already checked out and had read some other comments making suggestions about how to get the cart to accurately reflect no tax... makes me worried I'll be charged tax

Assuming everything works out it'll be a good deal.. I'm trading in a MotoE second gen..

So they send a new phone then I send my old phone back. What happens if, when they receive the phone, they reject it for whatever reason?

Do I get charged full price for the Moto E6? Or do they send a prepaid return shipping label for the new phone and also send my rejected phone back to me?

Or do they never reject anything?

So, I think the post is misleading. From the wiki, it sounds like if you just want the phone it will cost $94 bucks?
Please clarify! How to cancel then?

If you are using this deal for swapping phone, then final cost of new phone is 25 (first month service) + 40 (second month service) + 29 (difference of phone cost and virtual mastercard) = $94.
read wiki.
is simple

$20 total...thats it..

Whoever put in that $94 information in the WIKI is wrong. As you correctly stated if you do the swap the phone cost only $20/$25. Once you receive the phone and activate the service, make sure that you cancel the service or port out before the first month ends.

Shows both on mine -- I have the VZ prepaid Moto E 2nd Gen which was GSM unlocked but you had to screw around with the phone using a computer to get it to work with TMo/ATT

MEID is 14 digits
IMEI is 15 digits (MEID + single check digit)

My phone shows:
MEID 99000...9507
IMEI 99000...95078

You can try using a converter to see if that works: https://www.imei.info/meid

Website shows an "8" hexadecimal check digit (CD) all the way on the right when I enter my MEID -- if you want to take the risk then you can add the check digit that the website shows to your MEID and trade it in
Try leaving the last number off the imei (8) to make it 14 digits

can u show me where they want the meid?

everywhere i have seen they ask for imie.

these 2 things are not the same.

removing the first 2 digits or the last 2 digits of the meid
...will simply result in a random number...and most likely random number for imie will fail and thus be eligible.

..meid -2 numbers does not equal imei

People are ASSuming that the MEID will work. There is ZERO confirmation of this.

Yes, the ZTE A7 seems to be better in almost every way except it doesn't have the carrier versatility of the Moto E6. If you're planning to stay with Visible for the foreseeable future, you should definitely consider the ZTE. I'm probably gonna order one in the morning just to mess with.
