What is the security loop hole? This is a bit concerning.

They haven't yet invented some software that is 100% secure. Everything has a loophole. If you think your house security is more valuable than NSA nuke code, dont buy it.

For my house I realized I needed a ton of contact sensors for the bottom stairs. The best place was eBay for brand new ones. I could never find a deal on contact sensors unless you get the 10 percent off code from
Ring for ring protect, but eBay was still better.

Ring said they send customer data including real names and email addresses to several third parties to "improve features, optimize your customer experience". Facebook is one of the third parties. Probably you will only ADs you are interested in on FB. Therefore your customer experience is "optimized". And Facebook is probably receiving these for free because Ring said they don't sell data.

Ring has a lot of privacy issues. The coding is sent to Eastern Europe and there is a big security loop hole. Install at your own risk!!

Seriously what are they gonna see? How many times my door opens per day? Come on. Every app on your phone including this one compromised some aspect of your security.

When BK in part of the loop, I'll stay away. I have tried to stay away from any service where FB is involved and have canceled my FB account since 2 yrs ago (and I'm doing fine!).
