SUB 550P's occasionally go on sale as low as $180. I bought two with free shipping (it comes freight!) At that price. Great subs, quality construction and weigh in at over 50lbs each. I'd wait if you can.

So is this or the Klipsch R 12SW that's also been posted recently better overall?

Can't comment on this JBL but I have the Klipsch and i love it, just wish it wasn't so big but it sounds great
