It's annoying how half of the comments in these TV deal threads are that one guy that always comments and then argues over and over about how these TV deals are not a good deal because it was $50 cheaper a few days or weeks ago

Just had the 65" version of this delivered from Costco yesterday. Overall I like the TV, but i think I may have lost the "panel lottery" that others talk about with TCL TV's. Mine has pretty noticeable DSE when I run tests and I get a good amount of artifacting/juddering when anything pans across the screen. The colors and brightness are incredible, though.
Was excited at first thinking this was the new model. I'll wait for the 55R625 that has quantum dot and is getting HDMI 2.1 via firmware update.
edit: this is still a great deal - just not what I want.
You're about as dense as they come. Same model as the one YOU are talking about.
Yes, in the PAST it was cheaper. That deal is not available. I got it for $450 TODAY. Which I would still say is a better deal than the other deal available TODAY which is a 55" for $400. It doesn't matter what I could have gotten it for in the past as that is not possible right now!
FWIW, this same model is $348 at BrandsMart USA[brandsmartusa.com]. It says shipping for me is $23, though I don't know if that's true anywhere in the country... I live just a few miles from a store. (In-store pickup is free.)

Yup, but it's not now and I'll take a 55"-65" jump for $50 any day. I was buying the 5 year warranty anyway
