Costco has a very similar one for the same price. That might be a better buy given their generous return policy.

I think 32" might be a little big for 1440p, I have 27's and it's ok. For this price it's probably fine as a productivity/office work monitor. 60hz is not going to win any gaming awards but would be fine for casual use.

I have no problem with Acer monitors, I own 3 currently. And 2 of them came from newegg, no problem. Their return policy is kinda harsh though, I agree.

Hey at least it's not 1080p.

If you're talking about THIS one if it's the same price (can't tell because I don't have my membership info on me at the moment) it would be better, it is 75hz/freesync,

Downside is, must be a costco member to play that game...

edit - OTOH if you're going to Costco, get this one : Samsung 4K 32" curved LU32R590 $369. Once you go 4k you don't go back.... yeah it costs more...

Yup...that one is $199.

none of the 4k monitors's will do 144hz freezync yet.

Given that, i don't think 32 is too large for 1440p. I use one 42" 4k, and dialing back to 2x32" 1440p @144hz would be perfect

That's ok, no GPU can output 144fps at 4k anyway

I actually own this monitor. Bought on Black Friday for around $230. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Was a nice upgrade from my 27" 1080p Samsung. Takes about the same desktop space as the Samsung and the picture is much cleaner and brighter. Using DisplayPort and the Nvidia control panel with my GTX 1060 6GB GPU, I'm able to overclock to 79Hz at 2560x1440. Unfortunately, color depth is stuck at 8bit. However, using the native resolution and refresh rate, I am able to bump up the color depth to 10bit.

Agreed 32" is too big for that resolution.

noob here so pls excuse,
Does it make sense to buy a 4k monitor if your PC can only output FHD (1080p)?
What is the minimum config laptop I need to make it work for 4k?

Just tossing my thoughts on the pile. I wanted to wait for 32" 4K IPS at a decent price but I instead ended up buying a 32" LG 1440p IPS monitor. No regrets, I was sick of having two 24" 1080p monitors when I usually just had static things on the second. Freed up a lot of desk space and it looks great. Also pretty easy to work on docs side by side. Can't comment on gaming but 32" 1440p is fine for office work.

This is not a 4K monitor. This is 1440p. Any decent PC made within the last few years will be able to output 1440p.

Do the math on PPI, this is decidedly incorrect.
