It's not, if you're willing to take a bit of a gamble. But for $20, as long as it lasts a few months without shutting down, you've probably gotten your money's worth out of it. People love to point out that "lifetime" means lifetime of the VPN. Well, duh.

Look at Windscribe, though. They sold lifetime as a promo for a few years, but have stopped, and now people wish they could still get in on that. Could be the same thing here. For $20, you may get years and years of a VPN service that some day people wish they could still get lifetime. Or it may go tits up in a few months. Up to you if any of it is worth it to you.

EDIT: Try promo code BFCM19 to make it $18. ENJOY15 was supposed to take 15% off, making it $17, but I couldn't get it to work.
Their lifetime, not yours 😊
Lifetime until they go tits up.

Wasnt this free before?
It was free while it was being implemented and smoothed out. Looks like it's legit now. Really I like this offer and seems like Mozilla would be someone good to rely on. I'm just wondering about this company being US located and how they would handle any court orders that maybe given.

This happened to me with Tiger VPN. They got rid of my lifetime service without notice.

I got this deal about a year ago, It's not worth it if your intention is for torrenting. friend was running transmission on it, kept having issues with the connection dying and requiring a restart. Got Windscribe on a deal, have not had any problems since then.

But if you intend to use this for VPNing for websites and such, should be fine. when it worked, it was okay, speeds weren't great, but not terrible.

Bingo. This is my issue with it - connection dies and requires manual intervention, and sometimes even a reboot, to get networking back. Also, you can kill the connection and sometimes it stays live, even when the windows app notification goes away. It's just too buggy for 24/7 usage. I don't even need it for torrenting, but the machine I have needs to be available for occasional transfers and after 3 months of troubleshooting I gave up and got Surfshark. 2 months in it's been solid. Completely worth $3/mo (for Surfshark) to not have to constantly babysit FastestVPN's lousy software.

I signed up for this a little over a week ago and so far I am happy with it, given a few caveats. I read all the complaints about their app sucking so I never tried it. I'm using OpenVPN. Instead of a kill switch a decent torrent client like qbittorrent has an option to bind to the VPN interface which is what I'm doing. I've seen torrent speeds of up to around 70Mbps on my 230Mbps connection, which is fine for my needs. The biggest downside is that while they list a lot of servers only about half of them seem to work at any given time. I really wanted to stream CBC but the Canada server wasn't working, so I contacted support and they said they put in a ticket with their tech team, and sure enough 48hrs later the Canada server was working for me. I tried streaming CBC and it worked fine for that (I am in California). Their New York server is very reliable, LA and Miami also good, Dallas seems to drop connections occasionally, Denver is never up, etc etc. You have to play around and find one that works. Only time will tell how long "lifetime" actually is, but for $18 if it hangs on for 6mo I'll be happy with the purchase.

I have SolidVPN Unlimited but never got that to work with Netflix from some movies available only outside US, always gives me an error.

Does this VPN work good with Netflix? Can I watch movies that are available outside USA
