    I bought this recently. I believe it originally had an embroidered logo, but more recent versions have a heat transfer logo, leading people to say it is counterfeit. Mine is the heat transfer logo, and i don't believe it is counterfeit. The quality is very good, it appears to be a genuine Columbia and I really like the jacket.

    I read all the reviews as well, and that is my take on it.

    They're just comparing embroidery vs printed logos, they're both authentic as mentioned by other comments below. They likely switched to the printed one since it's cheaper to produce.
