It looks like AT&T may be starting a new promotion for the start of the month. I just went to my account to see what is offered since my 100mbps fiber plan is about up. Only 100mbps($45/mo) and 1000mbps($39.99/mo) is offered, no 300mbps is offered, but it was available a day ago for $40, and I saw an ad for it on TV today. If you have AT&T internet, check the plans offered in your account dashboard. There is no mention of equipment charges, but this is for a bundle. Southern states.

Or are you guys calling into loyalty department after your promotion ends?
Tentative new plan: 100Mbps for $35 + $10 equipment fee
I'm on the fence about negotiating for a retention on the current plan v.s. signing up a new plan for the reward cards of $250 in total + $60 cashback.
Mine will end in mid April. I remember in the past I've always reached out to loyalty department before my promo ended and they were able to take care of me. This time when I called in, the rep told me that I need to call in a few weeks after my promo has ended, which didn't make any sense at all...
I'll call back tomorrow, considering you were were able to get an offer applied before your promo ended.
BTW, when you got $30, is it b/c you're bundled on other services?
TIA.

I know resellers like toast.net let you own the router (not sure about the ONT) which is exactly the same equipment but I wasn't aware that AT&T allows the use of it to waive the equipment fee.
