It looks like AT&T may be starting a new promotion for the start of the month. I just went to my account to see what is offered since my 100mbps fiber plan is about up. Only 100mbps($45/mo) and 1000mbps($39.99/mo) is offered, no 300mbps is offered, but it was available a day ago for $40, and I saw an ad for it on TV today. If you have AT&T internet, check the plans offered in your account dashboard. There is no mention of equipment charges, but this is for a bundle. Southern states.

Anyone on a DSL plan? I don't pay any monthly equipment fee (I don't think) but pay $59.99 per month. Anything cheaper available?

Thanks for the feedback and agree that likely in our area, $39.99 may only be for bundled service but some folks mentioned getting it w/o bundled but perhaps it's other areas with even more competitive pressure so AT&T is throwing in more incentives. Still at $49.99/mo, no complaints.

Just called customer retention at 18003310500 and got the $20 off discount extended for another year. Super simple and easy. I just told them that I got a notice that my bill was going to go up and I wanted to know if there are any deals that can be applicable to my account. Rep looked it up and easily extended my existing offer for another year.

Thanks! I called the same number and ended up at an offshore call center who couldn't help and had to submit a ticket.

I then called the same number back and said "cancel" which got someone in the US and they were able to apply the $20 discount for another year.

Got it. Yes that step is crucial since regular billing is overseas and cancel is here in the States. However, thank you for posting bc I was able to save $20/mo for a year

Northern CA Bay Area here. I had a 1 year $49.99 offer for 1Gbps fiber that expired in May. Called loyalty department today and was able to to had a new offer applied to go back to the $49.99 rate.

I can only get 18mbps here. My friend lives two blocks from me and got this deal. I called At&t and they say they are working on my area. They have been telling me this for a year already…..🙄

That's why I switched to spectrum.
