I'm still so mad at myself for not getting this chair when it was $54. I saw the post, but though "eh, I have an ok chair.". Now my chair is a piece of shit and I can't find a decent chair at less than $100.

I think you should go into an office depot and try them all out. My opinion when i sat in all of them was that they were all good and similar to me except the 12000. The 12000 was definitely better than all the others for me and was amazing. 1000, 4000, and 9000 were more similar in comfort and support and 12000 was definitely a cut above in comfort and support. Just my subjective opinion

Same here. No idea, but some people reported that their chair came pre assembled. Maybe someone will pick it up and assemble on our behalf?

Mine too, I'm assuming that it's a drop shipment from Office Depot and their truck will make delivery.

For me, I got a call from a freight company to set up delivery for Tuesday. For others it has been an office Depot delivery. I haven't found any use for the tracking number they provide but everyone is getting theirs so I'm not concerned at this point that people will be stiffed.

I'm just hoping to get chair asap before virus gets worse and they stop delivering in NYC. Anyone know from customer pickup status to shipment how long that usually is?

So glad I got this chair. Hopefully it lasts for 5+ years at the very least. I prefer the adjustments to the Aeron I have at work and IT the side arms are bigger as well. I think this also tilts back further than the Aeron.

Only negative I have so far is that there doesn't seem to be a way to "lock" the backrest after raising it to max height.
