Yes, I'd like to report an alien from 1988. They have access to a computer and are posting on slickdeals.

performance is really poor for a 3700U
nonupgradable 8gb ram
mediocre screen with 44hz pwm below 20% brightness, so don't get this if you plan on ever using it on the dark / at below 20% brightness
not a very good deal imo

Maybe because people like myself remember them closing down every store in my area? Makes it a legitimate question.

This is probably in line with i5 processor according to comparison reports. Is this correct. I know AMD Ryzen is making a big push but it's not easily identifiable. Although same problem with i5 and i7 these days. You really can't tell by looking st numbers with tricky model numbers.

Most all of us likely remember that, but rather than countless "whaaaaat? Circuit city is still around?" posts maybe one of you could spend 30 seconds and do a simple search to see that the name was bought (like most popular and defunct company names) and "sales" from them pop up here every few months.

If it was truly a "legitimate question" that someone took the time to type out, couldn't they use that time to type those words in a SEARCH rather than wait around for an "answer" to pop up here to their "legitimate question"? 🙈
If I was going to buy the laptop I probably would've searched it, but because it wasn't that great of a deal I decided to post the question here, maybe because it's a simple comment, I figured what the h why not. You must have a lot of time on your hands to be bothered by simple comments. Here's some advice if the question seems dumb or inappropriate to you. Ignore it. Simple.

So...ignore the "legitimate questions" you post here because you'd rather waste your time writing posts that also waste our time versus you actually seeking a "legitimate answer" before writing you post. Noted! Lol.
