Oddball filters - different than the other Winix units - nobody, including Winix seems to have them anymore

Use a vacuum hose to gently clean the front of each filter every month or much sooner, depending on the amount of dust monitored weekly. Will make your filters last for a year or two.

I did post about C545 filters about a week ago...it didnt gain much traction probably because Costco had them on sale for $30 couple weeks ago or people didn't know how these filters don't stay in stock for long. They do go in and out of stock. it seems Costco and Winix were the only 2 places I could find them.

There not many alternatives besides the genuine Winix filters for the C545 so that might be a deal breaker for most.
The C545 is great though I haven't had any wifi issues like many people say they have. just make sure you connect it to 2.4ghz.

WINIX is currently out due to covid-19 supply constraints. This is a Costco model and WINIX will keep filters in supply. Plus they'll sell the filters at Costco too. Check the Woot Comments, someone posted WINIX reply regarding the filter issue. Thank you.

If you want your hepa filters to last, keep your unit around 3-5 feet off the ground. This let's the heavier particles settle, where cheaper methods exist for cleaning (such as a vacuum)

I bought this at Costco a month ago and returned it. I have another Winix that's excellent but this one broke quickly Frown It fell down once and the panel's plastic piece broke off so it wasn't good after that.
