How does an MVNO charge taxes? It's a rip-off. I don't subscribe to their "progressive" agenda. I'm waiting for my $300 MC then I will bolt. My first bill for 1 week + 1-month service was $83. Together with the $36 activation fee, I've already laid out $119.
Damn, that's gonna eat out your profit. But why only go for single line instead of multi lines to increase your payout?

Yes. Last week I received a $38 debit card for my acct #1 with 4 lines, cancelled about a week before the billing period ended. My acct #2 with 2 lines was cancelled 10 days before billing period ended and it shows a $32 credit. Probably will get a debit card for that in a few weeks.
I'm actually surprised that AT&T do prorated refund (giving their reputation). I canceled my T-Mobile lines 2 days into the new cycle and they billed me the whole fking month and refuse to prorate the final bill.

The deal was one $300 VGC per account, not per line. Adding multiple lines would have been worse.

That's just how they break down the charge. Althoug the quoted cost is $100/month for 2 lines (before $20 autopay discount), they break it down as following:
Base plan cost: $60 (before $20 autopay discount)
Access charge line 1: $20
Access charge line 2: $20
--------------------------------------------
Total: $100

I did the T-mo $200 GC deal from April to June with 4 lines. I got the GCs and cancelled about 2 weeks into the 2nd month. They sent me a $23 debit card as a partial refund of the $79 bill. See attachment.

Ported two lines from the Sprint deal, successful with the first order.

Order date: 7/28
Ship email: 7/29
Expect SIMs today.

Anyone knows if ATT bills from order date or activation date? 3 more lines with Sprint need to port out.

Edit: data point, I used zero for the SSN without issue.

At the risk of sounding like a devil's advocate, why would a company want to help you out when you're firing them? I don't think T-Mobile is too concerned about burning bridges!

I believe folks said at&t will bill you from the ship date. Holding on to the sims would not help.

They bill from activation date, but they might start your full billing cycle on another day to sync with their internal cycles.

I recently completed deals with AT&T, T-mo, Sprint and ported out before the end of the billing period. AT&T and T-mo gave partial refunds. Sprint did not.

According to Tmobile, there is no prorated bill...not sure what happened with yours.

Hey, are you canceling your lines with att or porting out? If you are porting out, to which carrier are you moving? Also, can you advise which carrier shall I port to for minimum charges and how much will be the charges?

Thanks!
