Holy crap that price has gone up! (Inflation for the loss?) Bought this same set many years ago, I can vouch the blades aren't the best on the clippers. Might need to go around a couple of time, but other then that it works just fine. Set is well made and will last so, even if you have to take a little longer per cut, it's fine.
It's really hard to find a decent pair of clippers online. I settled for a pair of Wahl clippers that retail for $31. I paid $65 on ebay. People are buying up all the name brand supply and reselling for double and tripple on ebay.
I bought this one normal price in rite aid for $13.99 lol. Just a few weeks before everything happened. It works great and have save me from looking like bigfoot
Great set of clippers, been using these for 11 years every 2 months. Never changed the blades. Bought them in a Rite Aid for $20. The blades are fine and will maintain their edge, just use clipper oil regularly.
On principle, this is bullshit. The official MSRP is $26.99. Don't feed the opportunists with their snouts in the trough, calling themselves "Daily Steals" while price-gouging.

It's higher than MSRP yes. But the market and demand will determine if this is a deal. As it is, it is hard to find clippers almost anywhere. Entertainment stuff are selling out. Just look at the Nvidia shield. That thing is overkill for what it does (streaming services) with faster menus, etc. But it's sold out. Base stations for the HTC Vive VR are selling out despite being priced $30 or $40 more than msrp. I'm baffled by the 5 or 6 thumbs up on this thread when this price is higher than msrp, but current conditions show there is more than extra demand for stuff like this when hair cut places are not open or accessible.
I know that given the current situation, it's hard to be picky. I was able to get my hands on a conair set, something similar to this; and they just felt pretty cheap. Luckily I was able to get the Costco deal on the Wahl set the other week, and those feel much nicer.
The Wahl set from Costco the other day feels like it blows every conair set out the water. My previous conaire was cheap and didnt feel solid like the Wahl set.
I have this very set. I didn't pay this much though. Had it for years and it's still going strong. I agree not as good as some Wahl sets but good enough for now.

Go to sally beauty website and order yourself a pair of wahl clippers. Pay more but they last. All appear to be in stock. Pick up the cleaner spray too.

Looks priced high compared to other conair kits.
