Was a great for turkey are you talking about brining?
I normally make kool-aid in mine but it sits until you can clean it which is why it's a pain in the ass.
What I do is put a bunch of Dawn in it, fill it with hot water inside the shower and drain it down the shower drain the next day. Then I'll scrub it with a generic Mr Clean magic eraser with soap and rinse it out a couple more times. That gets it clean to reuse but just make sure if you're using color stuff like Kool-aid that you slowly dump it down the drain so you don't stain the white shower floor.
Also, I get a large bag of ice from the store and I add it after I make the thing of Kool-aid.

Indeed, ice lasts long enough to keep the turkey in the safe zone, it has an easy pour spot to drain and it doesn't take up valuable space in the fridge.... I use mine almost exclusively for this
I understand exactly what you're talking about. I don't understand why you were getting it thumbs down. I usually Brine my turkeys, in a cooler, so this makes plenty of sense to me thumbs up.
