they are still charging $60 for SW Fallen Order and Doom Eternal. Do they think they're the only game store in town or something?
No but GameStop badly need our money and they're asking us politely.
Let be real. We are smart and the sample size isn't large enough to determine this deal bad. Soccer mom for example, need game for kids birthday or and they think of GameStop as a get go.

Has anyone been able to get this b2g1 deal? I put Mario Kart and Zelda on there but it's not working. Has anyone tried successfully?
Yes, I ordered Zelda, Mario Party, and Luigi's Mansion B2G1. Here's the deal, when you pick the game new or used make sure it says "Memorial Day Sale" beneath the game. If it doesn't, the discount wont automatically apply. I switched between new and used, where magically the discount reappeared. All three games for $115 shipped.
All you need to know about this "sale" is Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is priced at $60 when it is currently $15 on the eShop and is almost always at around $20 everywhere else. Do not fall for their inflated prices!

They assume that people will see Mario and expect it to be $60. Because that game is always $20 or around there. Was the game any good?

They marked the sale to exclude certain New titles. The sale is immensely beneficial for anyone who has a Switch but needs games. Because Nintendo is using cartridges again instead of disks, and those cartridges can have crazy high storage capacities, they control the pricing. It's one reason why I avoid the Switch currently: the limit of discounts or sales the games have.
This sale could have been the one that got me tempted into it, but then Gamestop did some BS.
They cut out new first party titles for the most part. No Zelda, no Mario, no Fire Emblem, no Luigi, etc. Gamestop isn't helping themselves by cutting out some of the desirable Switch titles that are new. Their used counterparts will apply if you can find them used, but that's as far as it gets. This sale could have been a great opportunity for some people to plunge and buy, but Gamestop still shot themselves in the foot.
