This computer will be 1599.99 online at Costco after 400.00 OFF. You propbably could buy it now and then request the 400.00 afterwords. I used to build my own desktops years ago. Not sure how this prices up with doing that.

I don't know why all the downvotes. This has additional AIO built in + 3 TB disk compared to the Alien R8/R9 deals a few day ago. Also free keyboard+mouse. This is no worse than the crappy Alien costdown PC case so the RTX may be less thermal throttled as well. Very good deal imo.

Exactly...been looking for decent rigs...BB jacked up their prices by $200 appx..in the last couple of months...with mediocre configs.....any idea when is it valid from??

What is the start date of this offer? I don't see it in the mailer, thank you.

The video card alone is $1,000.
It's listed as a slickdeal right now @ $690 for the video card.

https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/14078375

Worth noting that this video card ($690) is the entry level into 4k gaming and high end. Everything else jumps up close to $1000+ although obviously things change.. So if you're considering getting a system with a high end video card, this is probably one of the best video cards to get in this price range.

And this looks like a fair deal when you compare it to the Dell (Alienware) deals last week.

The setup is well thought out on the storage side of things, although I'm more up for using the cloud and adding and removing games as and when I need them. Might attract some video editing users.

The nearly fully loaded Dell Alienware R9 deal was better I'd have to say, with an i9 CPU, 32gb of faster ram, 1TB SSD but only 1TB of HDD for $150 more.

With this deal, you do get a keyboard and mouse (low quality).. but you might well replace those if you're at this high end of things..

That Dell (Alienware) deal is dead but we can use it as a benchmark.

You have to worry about heat and both setups use liquid cooling but I'd think that this system will handle the heat better with a full sized case although the Dell case is much better looking and half the size but that might mean that the fans come on more often even with the CPU based liquid cooling.

The 2 year warranty is really something to consider too, since for example with Dell you're only looking at 12 months. That is a big difference and really nice to have.. (you can double the warranty to 4 years with Costco anywhere CC for free with 2% cb which is awesome)

I'd say this is a good Slickdeal and worthy of our deal conscious well educated communities consideration.

REP given, nice find.
