Their support took a month to reply and basically tried blaming my hardware (kept saying external drives were unstable and that I should use internal drives for catalogs. Except, I was using internal drives all along...).
An update was released recently and I haven't had time to check if it's more stable but if quick support and solid performance are required for a business environment I'd advise you to stick with Adobe.
There are no refunds offered either, so consider that closely. And there are many reports of hardware acceleration producing glitched images with certain cards.

Have had plenty of issues with Adobe support being less than helpful and getting them to fix anything is next to impossible.
Have tried about every editing app out there, luminar, on1, PS/LR, C1, dxo. Settled on a combo of C1 and Affinity photo. C1 is much faster than LR and gives me layer support so way less shuttling to another app to do stuff.
Every method has +/- so gotta hit some trials and see what works best for you. That's the most important thing, try a bunch and see what you like.
When it's working, C1pro suits me well. Though the times when it's not would be very frustrating if photography was my business.
The library management was still not as easy/powerful as Lightroom, but the processor and color editor felt like it was a generation ahead of Lightroom.
I may continue to use Lightroom 6 (non subscription) for the Library management and Viewer for processed photos.

Adobe did subscription because everyone bootleged the software. It was the only thing they could do to stay in business.
They did subscription because of GREED. Up to now, you can still pirate the latest CC products
