If you'd be willing to run a VIN or two for me, let me know. Thanks!

When recently shopping for a used car, I found a couple vehicles with issues that show up on AutoCheck that did not appear on the same vehicle's Carfax report. One example was frame damage reported at the time of auction - the AutoCheck report listed frame damage while the Carfax report did not. One car salesman told me they "buy with AutoCheck, sell with Carfax". In other words, Carfax might look better when selling the vehicle. I don't know how often this happens, where issues are listed on AutoCheck but not on Carfax.

Yeah, I used the free vehiclehistory.com site and ran across a "hidden" flood damage title on what looked like a nice deal. The dealer grandly proclaimed "NO ACCIDENTS!" In the advertising. I may report them to the state.

Well, technically, does "flood damage" count as being in an accident? Glasses2
The place I bought my most recent car from did provide the AutoCheck.
