Was thinking about upgrading from a long in the tooth T3i to a 90D, but this deal seems pretty hot. I don't need the lenses, so I'd resell them. The 90D seems to have a bunch of new features that would be worth having in the long run (new sensor, new DIGIC processor, lighter, faster continuous shooting rate, 4k video). Any opinions on the 80D vs 90D, which is $1150 for body only?
So tempted to pull the trigger on the 80D deal. I've got an SL1 that is getting a bit long in the tooth. I was planning to go to the SL3 but this deal may be too good to pass up.
80d with 135 is the only good deal. Avoid the 18-55 unless u are starter. In that case take the t7. amd sell the 300 mm lens as it does NOT have inage stab. very cheap lens.
I have and use a Canon SL2. I like the ruggedness of the 80D. However, I already have both of the lenses in this kit. Is it worth opting for the 80D and flipping the SL2 body and extra lenses on fleabay?

Didn't have the 80D but have the 90D. Really nice camera only complaint people really have that all older lenses do not work as well with the camera. It has a very high mgp with a smaller apc sensor . So if there is a flaw it will show up more in the 90D. Just something to think about. There are list of compatible lenses out there for the 90d.
If you are shooting in broad daylight, there will not be that big of a difference in quality. All the extra features come into play in terms of convenience items (WiFi, 4K, using larger memory card...etc). I personally love top screen for info, 80D and up have weather sealing with appropriate lens attached. If you are confident you can flip the lens then this is a great deal but if you can't you stuck with stuck with crappy lens

Use my 80D all the time. And both lenses are great. Killer price. Good deal indeed.
