but know it only got an out vent the better ones have 2 vents for incoming air also

As per above, no returns. So that's $200 with a bit of a risk. But seems like a very good deal otherwise.

I think that is for "food" only. You need to read the whole section of new return policy.

Then just get a refund if there is a quality issue. Keep the unit or throw it away.

Danby customer service is a nightmare. They hang up on you after waiting an hour in line. They direct you to go to a service center 60 miles away. I'd avoid unless you get their products from Costco. None of the stuff I bought from them ever last more than 2 years...

That sounds rough. Was the failure in the first year and did they give the option of shipping it to that service center?
Often times it would be on the customer to cover shipping one way and the return would be paid by the manufacturer.

One of the failures during the warranty period and just returned to Costco. The second one, I attempted to get warranty support however it was not successful as they wanted me to drive nearly 2 hours to get it serviced.

Both models sold out within a week at the nearby Alidi location near where I live (metro Atlanta). I was told that were not going to restock them. It is a long hot summer here, and they could be selling many more.

I have the potableair and have a lot of issue, if you have a tv controller and change channel is change the portable settings, is not stay on start to shutdown every 20 to 25 min then if you adjust the the settings is shutdown for long time and i you turned on is stay the light like is on but not wirk at all for long hr. Please not lose your money is not worth it.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I had no problem returning a food product to Aldi the other day. Got my money back + replacement.
