How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I had T-mobile one plan, with 5 lines. I added a free line yesterday, and called earlier today to get the iphone 11 on us promo. The rep insisted I didn't need to do a port in a number, however, I contacted a t-mobile rep thru the chat and she disagrees, I'll see what happens I guess.

The terms specifically list that GV numbers are not eligible for port in.
do you have a link to the terms? I can't seem to find it on their main page under the promo details

No, after waiting for an hour on chat, I called 611 and got through to a nice rep within a few minutes. I was going to do the 1/2 off SE plan, but he said that I could do the iPhone 11 trade in promo as long as I was porting in a line. I had a google voice number, which I unlocked to allow porting for $3, and will use that once I get the iPhone 11.

I did check on the T-Mobile site and it did indeed say the GV number was eligible to port. I guess I'll see early next week if this all seems to be going right once the 11 ships to me.
Just a heads-up that somebody posted the terms of the iPhone 11 deal way back in the thread and Google Voice numbers were specifically prohibited from fulfilling the port in requirement, along with any TMo prepaid or MVNO. I hope it works for you and everyone else who does it though, of course.

I just added a free line in store. They did say you need to trade in plus port in a number from att or Verizon. There used to be $10 SIM pay as you go card from att but not sure if they are still available
or just buy an ATT number to port off of ebay for $6 or less.

I have a simple choice unlimites 14gb hotspot 2 lines for $100. This was the easier thing to do. Texting CS. Was done in less than 10 minutes. Added the free line and ordered the iphone xs 64gb 50% off to that line.

is it 8 line voice limit or both voice lines and like tablet/wearable lines?
I was just told I can have 9 lines, but the new free line will still be free. Old was 4Vox/3MI/1 Paired Digits. New will be 5Vox/3MI/1 Paired Digits.

I always used Google voice number for their phone deals with the port in the requirement , every deal was the same in the past and no problems at all I have done this for 4 of my iPhones and last one being the 11 pro max on Christmas, unless they just specifically changed to not allow google voice numbers in this deal.

would also like the link for reference if you have to their terms.

Where are these terms? Rep on the phone didn't have a problem when I mentioned it was Google Voice.

I also checked my GV number here and it says I'm good to port it over.

I was able to finally get this added via the T-Mo app. They weived the $20 assistant fee. I tried to use a SIM card I had in the house but they checked and it was previously used so it didn't work. I ordered a SIM kit for $10+tax. Confirmed that they would not change my plan, rate, or any promos on the account currently. Screenshot everything just in case. Fingers crossed and will check in a few days and hope nothing got messed up.

It has to be a port in from ATT or Verizon? Should be anything that doesn't use TMobile network.
TMO or Sprint (TMO). Which pretty much leaves just ATT or VZW or their MVNO's

If anyone's asking, I was told the new line won't show up in your account until the sim card ships out.

Just directly from T-Mobile app checkout process or actually via chat on the app?

Do you have a link to the terms on T-Mobile? The rep said through chat that these are not eligible port-in carriers: T-Mobile Prepaid, Metro by T-Mobile, free Google Voice services, MVNOs using T-Mobile's network, or numbers used with T-Mobile service in the last 90 days. It's very misleading that the promo doesn't clarify what are the eligible plans and port-in carriers.
