How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I have had promotions for years and it has never showed any of them under the "My Promotions" link on the TM website. I think that link just does not work.
I can see my other line's Pixel 3a trade in promotion from a year ago. I reached out to T Force and asked to see if the promo was not added.

just add line like 3 week ago, could have been free. anyway cancel and re-add
If I were you I would add the free line, stick the SIM in an old phone, use it as a backup for a while, and then cancel the paid line and switch over to the free line. It is unclear how long you would have to wait to do the switch. Maybe 90 days. Maybe a full year.

I added a free line to my old Simple Choice plan and for data it shows as the 6GB plan at $15/mo. The only problem there option is no data at $0. Will that $15 charge be credited every month?
You might need to contact them. The data options should be the same as your other lines.

Well, just got the text message a moment ago for the line and I do see as of this morning a new dummy number added to my account and the $20 2020 Free line promo as well. I am on the SimpleChoice NAFUTT4 plan. The only thing I don't see is the option to select unlimited data on the line like my other 6 lines have. Maybe it will show later. All of my other phone lines (including one that is also free) has that option. Or if this one particular line is stuck with only 10gb and data stash, so be it.

I added an iPhone 11 as part of the deal and I see the $29.17 charge also added to that line. It hasn't shipped yet, but hope to get it in a couple days. I just hope no issues with the port-in number and trade now for the handset so I get the credits on that. Reps assured me I can even though I'm on SimpleChoice.
When did you order the line?

Also... I'm super confused because I thought the iPhone 11 offer excluded Simple Choice plans.

Yep, a full year...I would simply add the free line, cuz it's free, and just pretend that I got 2 lines for the price of one, 3 weeks ago. I mean, you are already paying for the 3 week old line, but now you have 2 at no extra cost.

I ordered by calling 611 at lunch time on Friday. I know, I'm concerned now too. The rep was the one that offered up the iPhone 11 as an option. Just need to trade a phone and port a number. But yeah, if SC is then going to cause a problem, I'll have to do battle...or they can have the device back after I get it.

I'm eligible as I have NAFUTT4 and want to take advantage of the iPhone 11 promo but I'm concerned that Simple Choice isn't listed as an eligible plan in the promo details. Has anyone been able to take advantage of a similar promo(iPhone on us) in the past that didn't include Simple Choice?

Worked for me. It took a while convincing the T-Mobile chat rep though.

Need help on Simple choice plan. I got a line through imessage day before yesterday. But unfortunately it has been added as regular line where I am seeing that I have to pay 25$ ( 6GB data plan also ). I did a chat again with them by explaining the situation. they said that they noted down the information in the account. Nothing has been resolved. Line has not been added. No text messages on FREE Line. Did anyone face this issue and able to resolve successfully? please kindly post the steps. Appreciate it.

Also, not sure if it was detailed out for those using Chrome, but here are the steps I did to find my plan code.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
  1. View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
  2. Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
  3. In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
  4. Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.
This was I looking for.
Thanks.

Which simple choice plan do you have? Do you know your SOC code?

Just updating thread on my 8 lines TMO All-in (currently 4 vox, 3 MI, 1 Paired data DIgits), TForce has reassured me I can indeed add the 9th Free Line (so 5 vox lines) on to my plan.

"Great questions, by adding this free line does put you at 5 voice lines and 4 MI lines which its kinda confusing but in reality you have a total of 5 voice lines now with the free line. That later you are able to get more if you wish."

This lends more evidence that TMO is using vox lines as your line limit, as some here and Reddit suggest, and that MI and ancillary (wearables/Digits,etc) may be unlimited.
