How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Yes I cancelled the next day. I still wasn't sure about my plan that night and PMd then on Twitter. Took 9 hours for a reply. They confirmed the plan isn't eligible and said they could remove it but I would lose my iPhone SE promo (gee thanks). After some back and forth they agreed to remove the line, not breaking anything in the process (hopefully), give me a one time credit of $214 for the iPhone SE (including sales tax in the discount this time) as well as a $100 credit for the inconvenience. So in the end I didn't get the free line, but got the iPhone for $114 OTD. Not too shabby and since I didn't need the extra line anyway, I think I came out a bit ahead.
That's good...at least you got a phone out of this whole fiasco. 😃

I have a Simple Choice North America Family Match 6GB Plan with 3 lines (one being free from a prior promo) for $100/month. All voice lines got bumped to unlimited data last year. T-Force said I can't add the free line because my plan has a max limit of 3 voice lines. The rep offered to switch me to an "equivalent" Simple Choice plan (6SCFM2LN) that would allow up to 12 voice lines so that I can add the free line. According to rep, everything would remain the same, including name of the plan, rates, and my existing promos. Is everything the rep told me correct? I'm having a hard time finding details about 6SCFM2LN to compare to my existing plan. Anyone familiar with 6SCFM2LN? Thanks.
I currently have 6SCFM2LN. It's also called Simple Choice North America 6GB Family Match. 80/month + taxes/fees for 2 lines as the base plan and then I have 4 free voice lines now, all but the one that was just added in this promo are unlimited with 6gb hotspot. Also have a FDFL plan on the account as well.

I just saw this quick question. My brother (I am in his plan) has the simple choice that had 4 lines for $100 does that one qualify. I am curious his plan is super old he has like 2 free lines and has one available line left curious if his would qualify which I doubt it since some dont. His plan was I believe the one with 1GB of data than it was double to 2.5GB and now its 4GB another free upgrade.

Gotta hang at TMO Reddit, but the glory days of regular free device and free lines and free service promos are gone. Frankly surprised we are even enjoying a free line now, as Sprint's promo started a week earlier, suggesting they wanted to see how successful it will be, before doing it on TMO. The thread post count comparison between the two tells the story.
kinda ticked off bc none of the promos work with the One plan- thinking about switching to mint and pay half instead. tmobile sucks.

Has anyone had success getting the $0 One Plus Promo added to their new free line? I tried unsuccessfully yesterday while getting a number change to my new line. I have it on all my other lines. It got me thinking whether or not it's even in the system to be added anymore. The rep said it is no longer available.
I think you're going to have to be satisfied with getting a free line on your base plan. The notion of somehow getting an old promotion on top of the new base line just seems like a long shot.

Doesn't make sense. I am on the same plan, and T-force said that my plan qualifies for the promotion. He placed an order for new sim which should be shipped shortly. No need to change plans.

It is also on the list of qualified plans.
Thank you. Didn't make sense to me either. I called in and they were able to set me up.

Re: Portable #'s FS via eBay: What does one do with the information given by the eBay sellers for the portable AT&T numbers (rec'd: phone number, acct number and pin)? Do I give them to T-Mobile or do they need to be activated on our end first? If there is a detailed post on the process please direct me, thank you!
the rep will just ask for the phone number account number and pin for the information needed for the number to be ported.

Still waiting for my SIM card to arrive and so, no worries. So, I can get the mini iPhone SE2 for ants for $200 (tax $38 plus $20 service fee) with this old plan, hmmm.... Things that make you go hmmmm.
the iphone se is qualified for any post paid plan when you activate a new line so it should.

I figured as much. I know I had success adding it to another line I added after the promo ended. Just wanted to see if anyone else had success this time around. I'm by no means complaining on getting yet another free line.

Just to update had to cancel everything I got a new line but had no data and they couldn't figure out a way to put data on my phone because I had a grandfathered plan. I asked the customer service rep three times is the phone line going to have the same unlimited like my current lies he said yes. I ask can you verify that the promotion is on the contract he said it doesn't show up on the contract. But he assured me he has a grandfather plan and his went through with no problem

How can I get an att or another line quick for porting over
eBay? Last year, I went into an AT&T store, told them I needed a cheap number for porting out, and got a prepaid sim which I think was $30. I brought a spare phone with me and it was needed for validation text for activation of the account. I left with number, account #, and pin. I did the eBay route first but the first # I bought couldn't be ported to T-Mobile so was happy to spend $25 more for peace of mind. eBay will probably work for you as it does most others but this is another option.

I still see a lot of people wondering if their plan will work and thinking it will work because others said it has worked. When this deal initially started, the details were pretty vague and basically everyone thought all you needed was 2 active voice lines (paid) and you would get the 3rd line free regardless the plan. When the deal launched, reps were not fully prepared most didn't even know about the promo and those that did, did not know which plans were eligible so they just created lines for people (there's no promo code they add to give the promotion, the promotion is systematically/automatically added that's why you can even add a line yourself on my-tmobile and if you are eligible you will get it for free without having to call in). A day later we got a list of eligible plans directly from a T-mobile employee see here:
https://imgur.com/uLwq0iF

At this point if your plan is not on this list, you will NOT get the promo despite what an agent told you or you thought you read here. A lot of the plans are very similar and can differ by just 1 letter so it's very easy to get them confused. I personally was guaranteed multiple times that I would get the free promo and waited 24+ hours and did not receive the promo activation text and it did not show on my-tmobile under account. If you do not get these indicators you most likely are not eligible. The only other reason I can see causing a delay for others is if they did not have a SIM at the time of adding the line then it may take longer to show up. I did have a SIM on hand and still didn't get that confirmation that the promo was added. Also OP added a lot of helpful tips/feedbacks to the Wiki if you do not know your plan code, check the Wiki for instructions on how to get it and then check the master list of eligible plans. It's that simple now where before it was literally a cluster F. Hope this helps
