How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I see my new line added with following under Add-On.

10 GB High-Speed Data with Data Stash $0.00/mo

HTH.

Well I am on chat with 611 this morning. Free line came through as a voiceline only with no data. Chat rep said I can add unlimited data at a cost (there goes free line).

Then chat rep is confused now or playing confused.

Because of this promo, I have learned more about T-mobile SOCs, grandfathered plans, and Add-ons, than I ever cared to know.
And more than most csr's that work for TMO. When I step into the local store, they know they're about to be pwned. LOL

So this morning I get the following text "T-Mobile Message: Alert! You've changed line xxxxxxxxxx to a rate plan that is not eligible to receive the Friends & Family 2 Lines On Us discount. View t-mo.co/activity for account details." I am livid!!!
Oh wow, in that case, I may hold off on trying to add this one... I'm on the same F&F + 3rd line free promo.

Edit: didn't realize the F&F 2 lines on us was from 2016. I'm on the F&F 20% + 3rd line free promo from earlier this year...

The 4LP is for 4 lines, but I can't recall the original cost, because I signed up on '4th Line Free' promo, just before One launched. the 4LP is my SOC, and have been told 8 VOICE lines max, and I now have 9 Lines total (5 Vox, 3MI tablets, 1 Paired Data Digits).

edit: I *think* it was 4 Lines for $160, $140 w/autopay, because I recall shooting for 4/120 with the 4th line free promo and that line should have been a $20 line. I started my per line journey at $30/line, which seemed great at the time.
my understanding, after 8 line, your plan changes but they can carry all your promos over to the 9 to 12 (or 9 to 15) plan. I know someone who jumped from 8 voice to 10 and all their free, bogo, hookup, kickback, etc. carried over. (might even cost less with 9 lines).

This is what my Tmobile account shows under the 'Applied discounts and promotions' section.

I'm guessing the promo was applied correctly?:

$20 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)

All of my lines are the T-Mobile One plan with the free One Plus add-on.

Unfortunately, it looks like the new line is not eligible for the free One Plus add-on.

When I click on 'Manage Add-ons' the One Plus Promo data plan is checked as Free for all my other lines.

For this new free line, it shows as a T-Mobile One plan. One Plus promo is a $15 add-on. =(

I think that could be the difference..you did it on Friday..They changed the terms on Saturday to exclude SC and also added a port-in requirement
I did a port-in though. SC being excluded later on kinda worries me though

Does anyone know once they sign you the EIP doc to sign, how many days you have to sign before the order is automatically canceled? The email w/ doc sign says please sign soon otherwise your order will be canceled but doesn't say how many days? I want some time to think it over whether to get that EIP or not. Thanks.

That was my understanding until Saturday...TForce told me (albeit in broken english) that adding this free line would NOT change my plan, that 8 VOICE lines was that plan change 'limit', not including the various data/wearable/digits lines, so in theory I could still add free voice lines as promos move forward. I'm sure rules will change, as they tend to do. I've received both Promo text and account updated with promo, so I now know the system accepted the free line add, and my plan is intact.

What!? What plan are you on? Could you please detail your lines? 4 lines for $140 on what plan? Then the remaining 4 lines...
Signed up several years ago on Black Friday when they had they 2 + 2 On Us deal for $120. then a couple months later they had the 1 Get One Free Deal (just like now) which brought me to 5 for $120. Then they had a Add One Get One deal which brought me to 7 for $140. Now add in this deal which is now 8 for $140.

Yeah all I can say is that I confirmed multiple times with that dam CSR rep over chat that nothing would change and I would keep all my discounts and the free lines. Goddamit they are so incompetent. I haven't had time to call in yet, but will in a bit. It is like this everytime with T-mobile. EVERYTHING requires multiple calls and wasting endless time. I'm done with offers once I get the free lines restored

Same here. This is to be expected, some early promos won't apply (kickback/Plus Add-On).

As long as the promo was applied correctly without messing up my account, I can't complain.
