How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Log in at my.t-mobile.com on your computer browser. Then click on Account link (top left). And then click on your plan ... in my case it's the "Magenta" text as that's my plan. That should show the plan's monthly cost as well as "Applied discounts and promotions". It's in this section that I have "$30 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)" because my additional line would've been $30 for the 11th line on the plan. See screenshot attached.
Thanks! Mine's not on there.

I guess there's no plan worth switching to from Simple Choice, right? Essentials has no international data and deprioritization. My family travels often enough that we use the international data pretty often so that's a pretty big downgrade. I have a 15% military discount and not all plans have the ability to keep that discount. All the newer plans also have the 480p video streaming right?
With last years insider discount, magenta is cheaper than most old simple choice plans, plus magenta is unlimited 4G LTE data. You can use a VPN to easily get around the 480p streaming limit...

Has everyone got a text message confirming the free line or are their others who have not?
Received sim shipping email at around 4am today and about 8am received below text
"T-Mobile message: Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount as long as you maintain eligibility. View http://t-mo.co/activity for account details."

unless you can ask them to waive the activation fee too

I have the 2/120 plus the 3rd line free from 2017 and 20% insider hook up. My account used to say T-mobile ONE -$96 dollars.

I added the 4th free line Saturday with the 50% off SE promotion. The new line was added to my account today, I'm assuming the SE is shipped. however, it doesn't say 2020 free line on the account.

it currently say

T-Mobile ONE
$116.00/mo
Applied discounts and promotions:
$10 AutoPay Discount
$24 Insider Discount
$20 This One's on Us (AAL) (Additional Lines)
$5 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$5 Insider Discount (Additional Lines)

i don't see the 2020 free line discount.

My account went from T-Mobile ONE $96.00/mo to T-Mobile ONE
$116.00/mo

Whenever I go to the new line it does say $0.00

But it seems my bill went up by 20 dollars.

Is it a possibility because the phone hasn't arrived yet and it not activated why I'm not seeing the 2020 this one us line discount?

If someone has the original Simple choice family plan (used to be 6GB data but upgrade free to unlimited during the unlimited data promo as an addon) and the old corporate discount. With 2 free lines during the last major 2 free lines promo few years ago. Can you get 5th line free?
I had a SC 2/$100/10GB. Then they offered me a 2/$70/6GB and I jumped. Then I got the 3rd free line, and the next yr they gave me unlimited too with the 6GB hotspot.

I chatted yesterday and was told I didn't qualify because of that unlimited. Today I actually called and was told I did. So I got the line, and they will credit me the $10 sim and $20 activation on my bill. WIll take a cycle or 2 to show on my bill. So I'll be watching that.

You can use the phone on any line.
Don't you have to activate the iPhone with free line SIM first so the system register the promo? Or that's not the case anymore

not for the SC plans that were upgraded to unlimited. Paying $82 (after taxes) for 3 lines with 6GB hotspot on each. Now I get the 4th line free? whoot.

I got simple choice 2 line for $100. Rep confirm the XS was avail for the promo. I have everything log in my account. For wherever reason is not. They would have to give me those $350 credit back just for the trouble
Yeah, I will probably chat them back once I get the iPhone 11. It will be a pain, but got plenty of confirmations, from like 3 different reps that said plan is eligible for the promo. At the least, will probably be given at least half value in bill credit.

I'd consider Magenta Military depending on what Simple Choice you have and what you pay.

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...ount-plans
I have 10scfm4. The problem is that my brother is in the military and not me. He's just in my family plan and this one is nice in that it doesn't have to be renewed every year. I'm paying $117/m after taxes on 4 lines. Regular magenta doesn't have the 15% off because T-Mobile wants you to go to the Military plan for that, right? I realize I can just give him the account, but he's in California now and wants to switch to Verizon.

I would agree with that. Any equivalent plan, you would end up paying more, or loose features. I have stuck with SC for a long time just because of that. 4gb is a lot of data for me, since i am mostly in wifi covered space at home and work. And i use the international plan heavily. i have traveled to romania, india, dubai, singapore, vancouver and used data and texting for free without issues. SC is the best option for me.
The bad part of SC is that it is ineligible for a lot of promotions. At least mine is because it was a promo in the past.

I bet it is. Can't go back in the past though. Magenta with 4+1 free line is $3 more with my SC with 5 lines already. Problem is I only have 4 so it's like $23/m more for no reason.

So looks like around the time you get the SIM shipping email, within few hours (could be before or after), you should also get the T-Mobile text message related to promotional service discount. And by that time, you should see $0 for your new line also when check your account online.

Meaning before you get the SIM shipping email, your account may show new line but it won't be free yet so the bill price will go up temporary until the SIM is shipped and you received the shipping email.
