This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

I taught the $15 charge on the line was for voice service but it was actually 6GB data (addons) added to account, they removed it today and now it shows regular 2GB data at no cost.

I was able to get this deal after 2 attempts on my personal account (Saturday) and 2 attempts on business account (Today).
I had a couple of SIMs available so I was charged $10 for personal line and no charge for business line.

Texting 611 worked for personal line and calling 611 for business line.

I originally was told I had to add 2 lines and one would be free (on both accounts) so I tried again to deal with different rep.

I'm on SC 2GB and was told I have the NAUTTF plan.
I received a couple of texts on personal line about promo offer after signing up but did not see any discount for new line on my account online so I'll keep an eye on it.

In my experience their system is slow with account/promo updates so I'm hoping they'll get credits right and on time.

The port in will work if the GV is unlocked but how sure are we about the credits since we won't know until 1-2 billing cycles.
I have always used though and always gotten my promotions fine, if you met all the requirement you credit should come in, if gv ported in worked that's one thing to check off the list already, you just need the trade in to go in for them to look and say is good and then credit / promotion will be added, how it always worked for my previous 5 trade in deals I did and my friends did the same with me cause I told them about those good phone deals.

yes of course for your peace a mind you can do that, all I'm saying is it doesn't really make sense if google voice isn't eligible for the port in but somehow they let you port in any way and the line work just fine, I'm just sharing my personal experiences, never had a problem with google voice for these type of deals, as well as my friends.

So I was assured many times through the Imessage chat when added the line I was eligible and it would be no cost on Friday morning. Fast forward to the knowledge we have today and my plan is not mentioned in the eligible socs. I have not received a text about service discount. However looking at my account history it says "New line xxxxxx was added to your account on 06/26/2020 at 03:04 PM . This line is on the SC FM UTT+UNL 4 lines Promo plan for $0.0 per month plus taxes and fees." I do not see the promo "2020 this one on us" on that line anywhere and my bills charges went up by $30, which is the cost of a addaline in my plan. is it safe to assume I won't be getting the discount even though the account history says its added for $0? Is everyone's showing up at $0 even if it's not really $0?

Tossabledigit is not carrier, it parks you number for affordable rate in you do not want lose it. I'm assuming it is using local or internal system to keep the phone numbers. But I think tmobile has a policy that if the phone number is ported out it requires to stay outside of that period for at least 180 days before you can be added to new account for any eligible promo

You sure the $30 isn't just the $20 activation fee + $10 SIM fee?

I had a similar experience . The 2020 this one on us code didn't show up under my account until 12 hours after I got the new line text message .

My bill charge went up by 20.00. The line charge kept saying 0.00 .

12 hours after I got the text saying T-Mobile message: Congrats! You will receive your promotional service discount as long as you maintain eligibility. View http://t-mo.co/activity for account details.

I check a d it finally showed the 2020 this one on us code and my bill was reduced by the $20 it increased by .

Exactly even if they do not honor the promotion. Tmobile is pretty (at least for the pass 8 year in my account). Have been excellent. Most likely they will give me bill creddit of $350 call it even. Is much better than getting creddit for 24 month

Same thing with me. More than 3 reps told me that I was eligible for free line. Haven't seen the promotion applied yet. I believe you and I have the same plan. Simple Choice unlimited with 14GB hotspot.

Looks like I have same plan that you have, additional line is $30. My plan is the SC North American Unlimited 4 Lines for $150 plus tax and 14gb of Hotspot per line. I ordered my free line on Friday through 611, the CSR had assured me that it will be free, the free line finally showed up on my account yesterday when they shipped my SIM card and yet, no "2020 Line on Us" anywhere on my account. On billing and history, it shows additional $30 on my plan now, from $150 to $180. I was puzzled and I called 611 again yesterday and the CSR said don't worry, be happy. It will take two billing cycles for old plans like SC Plan to show up she said. If after two billing cycles and I don't see the free promo, call them back and they will manually fix it. Again, she said she will add notes on my account just in case if there are any issues in the future.

Then I asked her if there any better plans that I can switch since SC plans charged taxes per line but she said that SC plans are the best and recommend to keep my plan. So far including this new free line, I will be paying $150 plus tax for eight voice lines (4 paid, 4 free due to old promos like this).

Lastly, I asked if my SC plan qualifies for any iPhone discount and after 5 minutes of waiting, she came back and said only the iPhone SE with 50% off with any new lines for my old SC plan since there no restrictions to met.

Hope this goes smooth when I get my next bill.
