How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

EIP and Free Line promo are separate, but EIP can be canceled and free line kept. However, the Free Line Promo requires no line cancellations 90 days prior and 1 year after, to receive the line credits on your statement.
How about on a Costco cash phone purchase with free line. It doesn't even seem as TMO knows to register that phone to account without putting sim in. IF you return Costco TMO phone, will the line or free line exist after phone return? I started new account there on Thursday with some A71's on my 2 paid lines. Can't hardly find a case that works, the one I received pushes the power button and so the phone restarts continually. I should be ok returning those cash paid phones and still keep account, lines, right?

Oh you only have 5 voice lines, so still in the 5-8 plan bracket.
Yep! I thought we were limited to 3 free lines total, but I now have 5, and was told I could add more free lines, I suppose up to the 8 Voice line limit. Looks like I was wise to split my free lines between Tablet/MI and Voice.

I'm confused. You began a Magenta plan, 2 Lines paid with 2 A71's, and added the free line? Now you want to return both phones?

So 105 is after $70 from kickback? Did you move from 8 to 9 lines with this free line promo? I did and I lost the "T-mobile 4th Line Promo" and "F&F 2 Lines On Us".
What promos do you have/does your SOC (FRLTUL4LP) support? Wondering if I should chase after them.

My SOC is TIULFM9

Fiddled with chromeos to get sceenies:

Attachment 9191171

Attachment 9191183

What isn't showing up in the screenie is the Friends and Family 2 Lines On Us Promo, which is tied to the free tablet line...I only got one free line, because we were originally told we could only have 3 free lines, and I already had 2. Effers.

I heard last minute on thursday that 3rd line on us was ending, so I ran to costco and got there 20 minutes before closing. Was able to open account with 2 a71's 5G paid lines for $270 AR each, and the third line on us I just did BYOD. Two days later my account updated and I was eligible for this 20 Free line on us 2020, and just went in and grabbed a sim for the free line. problem is the case I bought for the a71's has a QC issue and causes the phone to restart contiulally. and that's just the inner shell. Like it was a 4G a71 case mislabeled.

I like the phone, but did not have the time to do normal case research before purchasing phone. So yeah, if on Friday they had a costco BOGO deal on a Flagship, I would be interested in trading these two out for those two S20's. . .it's not the free lines I'm messing with. Nor dropping lines etc. . .just want a good phone and a case that works well together, and I know the market is out there for the flagships. Even a71. Just not 5G a71.

Gotcha. The devices (even if they required a new line of service) are independent of the lines of service, and are returnable. Whether Wireless Associates will allow a swap is up to them, but I think they will accommodate you. You know you will not be receiving a rebate card (ie. balance of promo) from Costco for the A71's, if it entailed a rebate.

Do you have the same SOC as alphawave, but with 11 lines? Was wondering if I should switch to that SOC to get back my lost promos.
What promos does you account currently have?

TIULFM9 is mine. I think we started with 4th line free and hookup, brought in 2 more lines that were needed at the time, added 7 and 8 with a 50% off and lines 9 and 10 on a bogo. . when the plan moved from 8 to 10 lines it got better, I think.

Applied discounts and promotions:
$40 AutoPay Discount
$54 Insider Discount
$30 This One's on Us (AAL)
$25 50% off Add A Line Promo
$30 2018 Add OneLine Get OneLine (Additional Lines)
$30 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)

we use over 2GB on 2 (of the original 6) lines and one the free 2018 line.

New bill shows cost at $106.12 with a $1.12 deduction (for the two free lines from 2018 and 2020) was a 56 cents deduction before this weekend.

first 10 lines have kickback, 3 go over 2GB.

all lines are voice lines.

any other questions?

I suspect that the first 9 lines can all get kickback if under 2GB, I do not know if the line with the $0.56 tax can get the kickback because it shows as "$0.56" and not as "Included"

If memory serves, when on 8 lines with line 7 and 8 attached to 50% off, kickback only reduced $4 per line (for lines 7 and 8), once bumped to 10 lines, line 7/8 started getting the whole $8. because of hookup, kickback is reduced by 20%.

this link migght help show the plan details for TIULFM9 [efibernet.com]

YEah, I was only abut the lines being cancelled if I returned or swapped. Their return policy says yes, just worried about the lines being cancelled. And I only opened one of the a71's, tried to put in case and make it work, unsuccessfully, and then put new phone back in box and put sim in my Essential phone. TBH, my wife wants a new Sammy, I want my Essential to get new updates even though they are done with them. Sad because i have an unused Essential as backup JIC.

Does anyone know when this promo expires?

Also, does the Device promo needs to be added to the free line at the same time? or Can we add a free line today and then come back in a couple of days and add a device promo on the free line? (Assuming the device promo is still available)

Still, I think you can return and rebuy different devices, at their discretion...the return policy covers the example of returning both service AND devices (remorse). Make it clear you want to keep your plan/lines...just want different devices. If they want to cancel the contract altogether, that puts you under the gun to restart while this Free Line promo lasts.

3 PH-1's in this house, 2 black, 1 white (wife's). Hers is running slow, loaded with her games and crapware and she won't let me factory reset. Rather than argue about it, I just let her suffer a slow phone. My black ones were Rom'd, mostly AOSP, but sit with fresh OG installs, waiting for wife's to finally crap out. Mine are still quite fast.

Did anyone who's on a "Select Choice FAM UNL TT 50" with 5 lines max tried to add a free line? I originally had 4 lines and added 1 free lines to the account like 2 years back. They told me previously that my account has a 5 lines max limited. I'm wondering if this promotion would still let me add a free line. I'm not exactly on "Simple Choice" but an older "Select Choice." If someone else have done it, I'd appreciate your experience. Thanks so much!
did u hear back from anyone? what is ur SOC? I tried to add it & was shot down too saying I would need to change to a newer plan

Good news, directly from the T-force chat a few minutes ago:

He said:

1). Also, I am seeing here that it may take 2 billing cycles for the credit for the free line to be applied. You will see double credits to make up for the missed month.

2). I am looking at your billing statement currently, and the new line hasn't billed yet. And don't worry, you are eligible for the promo, you just need to wait up to 2 bill cycles for it to be applied on your account.

3). You're welcome! And yes, you can pair the free line deal to the $200 off for getting an iPhone SE in installment plan!

4). As your account expert, I do not suggest that you switch plan. What you have is a grandfathered plan that we no longer and is the better plan on what we currently has.

Let's see, he said my SC NA Unlimited 4 Lines $150 w/14gb hotspot per line is eligible for the free line.
I called in and spoke to a 611 rep. The rep told me the same thing that the plan was eligible for the free line. She was able to see that it was coded on her end. I told her that I wasn't able to see it on the account. Said that it can take 2 billing cycles to reflect.
