How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but should I take advantage of this deal even if I have no one to use the extra line? Does it make sense to just have an unused line laying around? Thanks!
You have nothing to lose by getting the extra line, at the very max you lose $4-$5 a month for taxes. You could use it as a mobile hotspot, emergency phone around the house, emergency internet if the power is out, so many uses.

I'm also using it as a spam line, so I don't have to give out my real phone number to random services.

FYI - mobile hotspot option may depend on your current plan. I have the One Plue promo (free) on my existing lines, which provides the hotspot option, but the new free line is on the One plan (since the Plus promo has expired). To move the free line to One Plus (which includes hotspot) would be an additional $15 per month.

If you go on t-force and ask nicely, they will add the one plus promo onto the free line.

You should move to 9+ and convince them to keep all promos intact. The advantage of 9+ is when they promo free line without limit the max $/line, then does not matter with or without autopay, that 9th line will be free
Yes, 9th voice line is $30 max (no autopay discount after 8th line). It is easy in future to do costco promo.
Already working with TEX to undo MI change and have 9th line moved as free line with $30 monthly bill credit , instead of $20 monthly bill credit. Escalated at the mgr level to get this addressed. Hope they come thru with my existing promo, etc. on the One plan

Not to threadcrap, but the small SE battery is horrible. I own the new SE, used it, and gave it to my daughter because I could not deal with the short battery life. I went back to my XR, where the battery is a beast.

I would have loved to stick with the SE because I prefer the smaller form factor, and the processor on the SE was very fast. But it had to be charged daily, sometimes even more frequently, and that was a deal killer for me.

Again, not threadcrapping, just adding some advice to those on the fence about choosing the SE vs other phones offered in this free-line deal, like the iPhone 11. I would choose the 11.
I was on the fence between the SE and 11. Your post makes me glad I chose the 11. It definitely will take some getting used to coming from a iphone 6

I have Simple Choice NA plan, added a line last Friday, today I asked them if I can add iphone SE with 50% off promotion to my plan, 611 CS agent told me I can, I proceeded to order an iphone SE, got the agreement, it had the full amount (399.99), I asked CS agent about promotion, she said it won''t show up in the agreement but will show up under my account within 24-48 hrs.

Any one here who signed up iphone SE promotion after the addition of free line, in your agreement do you see full price of iphone SE or 50% off price?

I added my free line and ordered the Revvlry+ $300 with $200 off promo last friday but changed my mind and wanted to cancel later in the day, I was told it was too late to cancel so I would have to place the order for a different phone and return the Revvlry+ when received.
Well yesterday I sent it back (box unopened) and purchased the Oneplus 7T $500 with $350 off at local store and the eip for the new device and the promo for the Oneplus 7T appeared on my account within a couple of hours.
Just an FYI in case anyone is on the fence about canceling/returning an order and ordering a different one.
Oneplus 7T seemed like the best android deal for a 2nd phone....my main line is a Note 10+.

Depends on your plan and if taxes are extra like mentioned by other poster. I grabbed an extra FREE line 2 years ago and never used it until I let me nephew have it a few months ago.

The only reason I grabbed it was because I was on the plan that had taxes included so it was completely FREE for me and I was able to get a deal on the iPhone at the time because I operated over a number. I also used it to get extra T-Mobile Tuesday deals with the FREE line (extra Redbox codes, extra FREE MLB.TV that I gave to my friend, extra free food items, etc.).

Was there any hassle when you went to the store and bought another phone to have it attached to the line you activated a little while ago and had a phone associated with already? I really want to do this and just wondering what i should know/expect. Any details are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have a SC plan, they added the free line a few days ago and I ordered my SE yesterday. This morning, I received this text.

T-Mobile promo message: Line xxx-xxx-xxxx is scheduled to receive a monthly bill credit for 2020 Apple Activate Promo 3 as long as you maintain eligibility.

Those who have purchased an iPhone 11 with Trade-In to get $700 in one time credit + statement credit, did you get the return shipping label in the package? If not, how and where can you find it? I received my iPhone 11 but it doesn't have any return shipping label to send back the older device.
Any help would be appreciated as I couldn't even see it on my account overview/activity a way to find shipping label.
