This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Just added my free line and the t mobile rep said that the free line is only valid for one year, then I will have to start paying for the line. Has anybody been able to extend the free line after the initial year?
That's 100% wrong. Use T-Force folks. I don't trust any other Tmo customer service channel.

There's so much information and comments here. Can someone please break it down for me?

I have three paid lines on T-Mobile ONE plan. How do I take advantage of a 4th line for free? I have an iPhone 6 not being used.

Can someone please advise?
Just use Twitter to direct message @tmobilehelp. They will take it from there. Your plan is eligible and you are paying at least two lines so you are good.

Did you add then it not?
no I didn't want it or need a 4th, I'm on the essentials plans and you'd be paying about $5 in fees&tax.

Only t-mobile can tell you the SOC I believe but other than that I already had a free line via previous promotion.
NO!!! Read the wiki to see how to find out your SOC.

That might be misinformation or miscommunication... You have to keep the line for one year with no line cancellations either or you void the free line and will need to pay for it. After the year, you can do whatever you want to your plan and that free line will be permanent. Yes, that line will still be free.
I too have received some conflicting information about the terms and conditions regarding the free line.
Are there T&C anywhere one can share? I cannot see this deal on my portal but am eligible.

If I understand correct, for the first 12 mos, the requirement is to keep the existing paid lines in order to maintain the free line, and then??

After 12 mos, I can downgrade to 1 paid and I still get to keep one free line?

Thank you

Call 611 from your phone and tell them you want to take advantage of the free line promotion. You will pay for a SIM card and where you're on the One plan you'll have no taxes or fees after that ever. You can also take advantage of getting the iPhone SE or the OnePlus 8 for 50% off when you add the free line. The iPhone Xs 50% off deal does not apply to the One plan.

Apparently, if we choose a different capacity (i.e. 128GB and up) for the iPhone SE it only takes $200 off, not 50% off

I already have a third free line from a few years ago, all in the One plan. Can I add a free forth line?

The FAQ states that it's 50% off the 64 GB version. Then it states that you can save $200 off any iPhone SE.

"Starting May 27, 2020, for a limited time, new and existing customers who purchase an iPhone SE (all colors and memory variants) on our monthly payment plan and activate a new line of service can save $200 off via 24 monthly bill credits."

I pay $100 for 4 lines with Netflix (MIL Rate). Do I qualify for the free line? Is it voice only or does it give you unlimited dat too)?

Thanks for clarifying that, also what about existing discounts? Do they get affected when adding the free line? I currently pay $130 a month for four lines altogether. Does this mean that by adding the 5th line, the monthly bill will still be $130 a month apart from the monthly cost for the iPhone SE?

I got a rather ambiguous response from T-Force
I know I qualify but it seems they want me to take the risk. I haven't received an official confirmation as to whether or not I qualify (even though I do as per that Imgur picture)

Hey there! Thanks for taking some time out of your day to reach out to us here in T-Force! I hope you're doing well today! We're super excited for our free line promo and we're happy to talk through all of the details with you. With the "2020 Line on Us Promo" if you already have 2 or more lines on a qualifying plan you can add just one more line for FREE! If you currently only have 1 active line you'll need to add 2 lines total, and one of the new lines will be free. Most T-Mobile One and Magenta, and some Simple Choice plans qualify, but if you have specific questions regarding your rate plan, we're more than happy to take a look with you. We always make sure to give you options, so if you're a 'Do-it-Yourself'er, you can add the line on http://my.t-mobile.com, or in your T-Mobile App. Just open the app, go to "Shop", then select "add a line" and it'll walk you through the rest! If you prefer http://my.t-mobile.com, just login and click "Bill" at the top, then click "Add a person or device to my account" at the bottom. It may still list the "regular" AAL cost while checking out, but as long as you're eligible, it's 100% free. Doing it yourself will also save you $20! If you have any further questions or concerns please fill out this link, and let us know how we can help. Thanks again!

Note that in the fine print, the discount WILL STOP if you cancel ANY line. So if you want to modify your plan in any way soon, whether it be swapping numbers, downsizing, or anything that will port out or cancel a number or more, this discount will be lost.

You must keep all lines on the account for 1 year. After one year, you must maintain the free line and 2 paid lines on the account. So in a year, you can drop any lines you want to get to 3 lines (2 paid, 1 free).

You will, however, want to be careful. Depending on your plan setup now, dropping a certain number of lines may result in a plan change, which will likely remove your free line credit. You may be able to get it reinstated if you discuss with T-Force. I'd contact them first to run it by them before you drop lines to be sure you have it in writing in case anything goes wrong.

T-Mobile never clearly outlines the terms to the consumer. Chat with T-Force and ask about the specific terms of the promotion. It's the only way you'll get a straight answer.
