How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I have a 6S and I want to maximize its value towards a 12 series. What's the best play right now? Adaline and get $500 towards an 11 and then trade that for a 12?
Most likely, yes. That's exactly what I'm doing.

The 6s credit of $500 is far more than it's worth. Trade it in, get the 11 for $200+ tax. Given the trade-in value of iPhones with T-Mobile seems to hold for years, that $200 iPhone 11 should be worth at least $500 towards another phone for at least 2-3 years. Easy $300 credit money-maker.

My thoughts as well. But I just don't want that huge phone.

I tried to add a free line without activating a new one. Rep on tforce said this:

2020 Line on Us Promo 3

For a limited time in all markets, new customers activating 3 or more voice lines and existing customers with at least 2 or more paid voice lines who activate at least one more voice line will receive one of those voice lines free (via monthly bill credits) when they choose a qualifying T-Mobile ONE, Simple Choice, Magenta, T-Mobile Essentials, or Business Unlimited rate plan.

FYI I have 3 paid voice lines a couple watch lines and a couple data lines
Tell that rep they are misreading the terms. Obviously, you need to 'activate a new line' to get it for free. Any pushback, tell them to seek guidance from their super. It's plain english, but still that's asking a lot these days.

edit: Better still, if you know your SOC qualifies, just go online in your account and order a new line/SIM...it will meet the terms of the promo without any employee misinterpretation.

Thanks, can I add the line and get the phone later at 50% off? Or do both offers have to be added to the cart at the same time?

Wait, you can get a $500 credit if you trade in a 6s? Where are the terms for that? I thought the max credit was $350

You should already be seeing the promo being applied. You have to go to the Bill section and then the Promos/Promotions subsection. 2020 This Line on Us should already be there. If it's not there, then you need to contact support. Your SOC isn't even in the approved list.
The most important thing is if they have not credited your account the amount credit you should receive for that line. Second is if they already credited you that amount. You should be good. Now you have prove that this line/promo qualifies. So now that multiple of their own representatives acknowledge it and put in the credit it means that this account qualifies with adding a new free line. So I should have enough evidence to get this line free for the rest of my life until I switch carriers or they go bankrupt.

The iPhone 11 On Us deal requires a new line, port-in and a currently offered plan.

I prefer larger-ish phones, but I get it. My iPhone 6s isn't a primary phone. I got it a few years ago when they were running a deal for an iPhone 6s for $99 with AAL. I figure I'll just get it now, maybe use it a little bit, and then put it away and go back to my Pixel 3A. It should fetch a good deal in trade-in value sometime down the line. Maybe 3-4 years from now I'll be able to trade it in for a 12 or 13 straight up (once they're several generations old), or trade it in sooner for a heavily discounted/free Android phone of my choice. It should hold value for trade-in for some time, much more than the 6s will.

You need to add a line (free line counts), port in a number (buy an AT&T number from eBay for <$5 if you don't have one to port - I hear Google Voice is no longer working for purposes of these promos), buy the iPhone 11 on EIP, and trade in an eligible device. Some devices make it free outright, some give a $500 credit making it $200.

Unfortunately that's not how it works. Eligibility is determined by the system, not by a rep. You either qualify or you don't. You may get lucky and have reps credit you every month for a while (months? a year? - either way you'll need to call in every month and explain the situation), but you won't be getting it free forever. A one-time credit, even over months, is not an admission that you qualify. It's pretty easy for someone who actually knows what they're doing to look up your account history, determine when the line was added, determine the promos running at the time, and find that you've been getting credited for a line you should be paying for. Once that happens, the free ride is over.

Problem is, this is automated by the system, there's no SOC to add for this.

I successfully switched my plan from One All In Promo to One (FRLTULFM2) through T-Force today. Does this looks right with all the discounts (hookup and kickback) ? I used to pay $64 for 3 lines and now $87 for 4 lines.

T-Mobile ONE
$87.00/mo

Applied discounts and promotions:
$10.00 AutoPay Discount
$24.00 Insider Discount
$25.00 This One's on Us (AAL)
$4.00 Insider Discount (Additional Lines)
$10.00 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$20.00 2020 Line On Us (Additional Lines)

Also, anyone successfully added the One Plus Promo to the 4th line for free?
Anyone?

Yes. I had One Plus Promo and Kickback added. One Plus Promo should be easy if you already have it on other lines. Keep asking T-Force until you get someone to add it.
