How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

I am on the same amplified plan and added the free line on 26th. I haven't seen a cancelation text yet and my free line discount still shows up. When did you get the free line?
I also added it on the 26th.

There is no "honoring" the free line. You qualify or you don't. The system decides, and the system is final.

The best (although not easiest) way to tell is to find your plan SOC (instructions in the wiki). Once you have that, there's a link (also in the wiki) showing all the SOCs that qualify for the promo. If your SOC is on the list, you're good. If it's not, it's not going to be free, no matter what a rep tells you.
+1

I am also on the amplified plan. Prior to calling, I had confirmed my plan's SOC was on the list. Not sure if amplified plan itself has multiple SOCs.

Do anyone know how pricing works for each line or plan structure for Tmobile ONE 9+ lines rate plan?

It's $270 for 9 lines after $40 AutoPay Discount.

did you mean we can get the one plus added to the line for free even if dont have it on any other lines?
No. But others who have it have been able to add it for free to lines they added after the promo. The promo is long gone and is from 2017.

I have 2 lines with Tmobile. What is the benefit of adding a free line?

You get a free line. If you don't have a use for it, none. If you do have a use for it, it's free.

Thought I was missing out on something like using this free line to snag a free or heavily discounted phone.

Thanks

Alright just got my free line SIM card shipped to me. I want to get my SO on the free line. She's currently has T-Mobile number. The rep said she can't port her line in to my account and still get the free line. But they said I can port in from another carrier? Is there any way around this so she can keep her phone number?

Thx for the suggestion. I looked up my SOC code and confirmed it's on the list and qualifies. Not sure why I got the cancellation text but at this point I'll assume all is fine...

Port that number out to another carrier and port it back in?

They do have some deals going on, depending on plan. There are several 50% off phone deals with add-a-line (may require a plan change), or a free/$200 iPhone 11 with add-a-line, port-in, and select trade in. If you're in the market for a new phone, it's worth checking out the deals section on the website to see what the current offers and requirements are.

If you can find it in stock at a local store, you can get $350 off OnePlus 7T via 24 monthly bill credits, making it $150 before taxes. I did this a few days ago. Added a free line and it made me eligible for this phone deal.

So, even it is a free line, I think I still need to pay regulation/tax...fees for the free line. Even the rep told me over the phone that there is no additional charge for this free line, but I saw order email later indicates such required fees.

With my current SC plan, I think that is additional $5 per month. Not sure if it is really worth it if it simply sitting there without any usage.

My current plan has 6 lines: 2 base lines as the SC family plan + 3 paid line + 1 free line. Adding this promotion will be my 7th line. My only hope is that after one year when I am eligible to cancel a line, it will remove from the paid line not the free line. Any expert knows what would happen when I cancel a line later? TIA.
