How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

The rep from the T-Mobile app chat wasn't able to transfer my 3rd free line from the ONE ALL IN plan over to the regular ONE plan so I canceled the process and tried different rep. I came across another rep through through Facebook (T-Force) and he was able to make the switch while promising I'll keep my current promos. After everything was completed, the regular ONE plan and other discounts (insider hookup, kickback, ONE plus add on, autopay) are now showing except for my 3rd and 4th (new) free line discounts. I asked the rep when will my free line discounts show but he never responded back. I'll reach out to T-Force again tomorrow to find out but I hope this is not the beginning of a battle to get those discounts. Those the only two things that are missing.

I'll also mention I took advantage of the iPhone 11 Pro deal while getting the free (4th) line.

I canceled a line about 2 weeks ago and I contacted to T-Force via Facebook messenger, asked them about the free line and the rep did not mention anything about the line I canceled. She just added a new line for free and it already shows on my account.
The credit is likely going to drop once the system sorts itself out. Most of these promos have been pretty strict about not having a line canceled 90 days prior to enrolling in a promo. Keep an eye on that.

I did similar last week, and the second free line hasn't popped up with the 2020 promo yet, so I messaged on Facebook today asking them to verify it was going to be free, and if they would add the ONEPlus promo to the new line so it matches the old lines. He said that everything looks good for it to be free, and some accounts are slower for the system to catch up on, so to give it two bill cycles.

On the ONEPlus promo he said he couldn't add it for me, but to keep my eyes open as he was sure that promo would come back around soon. I didn't know what to make of that, but he said it a second time at the and of the chat, and really, I'm still not sure what to make of it.

How much is your one plan after you made the switch?

can you show the discount breakdown?

I ordered and got my confirmation. I didn't realize I had to ask about having the fees waived at that time. Anyone have luck asking to have them reversed or credited?

Glad your Family Match plan was eligible, I had to go through a big ordeal to get someone to switch my grandfathered family match plan to another grandfathered plan to get the free line.

Question, did your plan have the upgraded unlimited data promo? I had that and am wondering if that was the cause for not being eligible in the first place.

Also, if anyone qualifies per the wiki, you can just do it on the website.
Which plan did you switch to become eligible for the free line promo?

Yes I do have the upgraded promo w/ unlimited data but not sure if that was specifically the reason since she said these plans were grandfathered and therefore they had to log in to an older system to activate the promo. She did guarantee that my plan would not be impacted so if I see anything funky on my bill, I will have to fight them.
Do you have the SOC code for your plan?

I had Simple Choice North America 10 GB Family Match which had a base plan of 2/$100 (10SCF4MLN, without the "N" qualified). After a lot of effort I switched to NAFUTT4 which is Simple Choice North America 10 GB, base is 4/$120. I had 6 lines and 1 $5 wearable. This plan they switched me to is actually $20 cheaper.

Had them backdate it, which allowed me to change one line immediately from 10 GB to unlimited via the website. I got that line last year after the free upgrade to unlimited data ended.

For those who are getting in on the iPhone 11 with port in,

what happens if I choose not to send in the trade-in?

I went through 3 reps on Twitter and 2 with TEX via T-Mobile app chat until I had one finally give in and change my discontinued plan onto another discontinued plan. If you really want this, just gotta put in the effort.

Not sure what info you shared here previously, but that add-on can be added if another line already has it. As for the kickback, per things I've read on Reddit on the megathread, free lines don't get it.
When you say you went through there reps on Twitter, can't they are your chat history and see that you're asking for something you were just shot down about?

At least when I contact via Facebook, you can see the entire chat history, and once I get one rep, that seems to be the only one that replies to me until their shift is over, but then the next one reads back to get caught up on the situation. Is it different when you contact via Twitter?

I have 3 lines on my 55+ plan. I took my father to tmobile and they opened up the account in his name and I added a second line for myself. Since I'm paying the bill I log onto the account and would see add another line for just $20 which I did to get an Iphone 11. Right now not including the two installments for $36 my monthly bill is $90 for 3 unlimited lines.
Thanks for the info. Was this recently your seeing add another line for $20 when you log in to pay the bill? TIA

Yes, they can check a previous conversation. This happened to me when I checked with them again within 30 mins. So I switched to TEX in the T-Mobile app. Then back to Twitter if I didn't get proper assistance.

An hour later I reached out simultaneously to Twitter and TEX (no one brought up previous convos), Twitter was denying me and I brought up some points, but TEX went ahead and changed my plan after some back and forth.
Prior to this I had reached out a day earlier.

Well, if you only need 2 lines, Magenta 55+ would be $70. Vs $120 you are paying for 3?

What about senior magenta for $70 plus a cheap mvno plan like mint $15 a month, or even cheaper plan, for that hardly used line??

Or add a close relative to the free 4th line for bonus points

EDIT: I don't think they allow 3 lines on 55+ magenta anymore. . .
Thanks. With hook up, I pay $112 for 3 lines plus extra $7 for Netflix. I actually don't need the rarely used third line. I won't have a true need for that line till some time in 2022 when my kid will be getting a phone. I've been debating whether to just change to the 55+ plan and worry about additional lines when it's closer to 2022.
