for 600 dollars, you could actually buy a TV that has better color: Hisense 55H9F, or 65H9F for 800 dollars.
they are HDR, 93% DCI P3 (remember 100% srgb is like 80% DCI-P3), 120Hz refresh rate, 500 cd/m with static contrast of 6000:1. pretty much destroys this monitor in all color front.
and here is the thing. you could just buy the LG 42 inch monitor for 450 USD at costco that has the same spec (and yes, they come with USB C as well)

While I don't have a crystal ball, I doubt the price will drop much more In the near future considered Dell already slashed 25% of the original price.
As i posted. Vizio v 40" is flicker free when backlight is 60% to 100%.
Lg 43um(n) 7 series uses pwm but on 100% has minimal flickering. I compensated with brightness to 40 and contrast to 40. Including disabling all video processing.
But vizio v 40" was easy to set due to no flickering on 60%-100% backlight.
The down sode is no pip and no display port. Well has to turn on the tv manually.
I think they only thing i qualify for is the $120 credit with he consumer card.
Then the work laptop will only support so many screens at certain resolutions, so not sure how it'll work there either.
Anyone out there have any experience with monitors in this size range and adding another large monitor or something like a gaming monitor? Used to run machines with their own keyboard and mouse each, but I really do like the single keyboard and mouse. Can't use software like the logitech flow or any such because of data security etc... kinda shocked they didn't balk at my Dell's KVM software...and if they do can always use the buttons on the monitor, though not super convenient.

I personally use a 43" TCL 4 series with a 27" vertical monitor on the side. The $220 TCL will have 85% of the performance for 1/3 the price.
I get both arguments though if you're using your monitor for 8 hrs a day 5 days a week, whats $700 in the long run.
I do love this size though whether or not its a TV or monitor. one underrated aspect is having windows split screen which puts them out slightly vertical. Most things on the computer/internet are well suited for vertical, other than video/movies. Its an open canvas and I even used to game with 38" ultrawide settings letter boxed.
