    I have one on a 60" recent model from Costco with Airplay and it works fine. The slowest thing is the browser which I have low expectations for anyway and LG's app and channel store which I only need to slug through when apps need updated. But anything else...Youtube...Twitch....Xfinity Stream, Prime Video, Netflix load great.

    WebOS hasn't been an issue for me but I'm on a 60" one from Costco, with Airplay 2, and other siimilar features as this. Similar price point as well. The slowest thing to load is the LG channel and app store which I rarely have to slog through just to update apps. Everything else I use...Youtube, Prime Video, Netflix, etc load fine.

    With streaming sticks going for $25 like the FireTV 4K, does it really matter what OS comes on the TV? I have a 2012 model LG TV that I'm getting great use of because of a FireTV Stick.

    I don't know this model line-up but I would say you have to go to the 8000/9000 series, (or xx80,90 terminology). AFAIK this is the better of the lower-end ones, but they were all still 2.8K using RGBW pixels in a spec "trick." that part is OK if you will only do 1080 content. My friend's xx70 series from last year also had terrible backlight banding when trying to do "smart dimming" or whatever they call it. dark and light grey bands during movie credits.

    That said, I bought an OLED this Winter and it is purely OMG and POE (Purity of Essence, Peace on Earth). It is like distilled water and pure grain alcohol. (Sorry, Dr Strangelove ref)

    Yes it does make a difference when you are talking about sub-$400 TVs where buying a good streaming stick adds another 10-20% onto the cost. Then not having it all integrated into a remote, etc. If this were a $2500 tv with the wrong OS I might agree.

    Yeah..I realize this is the same one Costco has at same price. I didn't by it then with a 5 year warranty, not going to jump at it now. Not a horrible deal, but I think the TCL 5 series are a better deal if you can find one.

    been waiting for rtings review on this. I need a cheap outdoor TV good in sunlight. predecessor to this, UM7300 was #1 budget TV for outdoor but it's tough to find now that the UN7300 has replaced it. While I'd like to buy it under the assumption that it's just as good outdoor, quite often that isn't the case on a new model Frown
