Yes. If you wait until the holiday season there will be deals for a free iphone 12 when adding a line.
Been happening every year with tmobile and costco. Just cancel the line after you get your $700-$750 rebate
Edit: actually i didnt remember correctly. You had to add a line and trade in an iphone up to 3-4 generations old but its still a deal worth waiting for if you can wait

No new line required but you have to trade in either iPhone 8, 8+, 7, 7+(for $200 off) or iPhone 6s, 6s+ (for $100 off) . This is not explicitly mentioned on the flyer but I think that's the case.
Need someone at Costco to confirm.
