3Gb per second but still on a 1Gb per second link. Marketing at it's best
The M9 is a tri-band router. The X60 is a dual band.

If you are using a wifi backhaul, get the M90.

If you are using a wired Ethernet backhaul, get the X60.
The X60 has a maximum backhaul of 3000Mbps vs the M9's 1500Mbps. Dual band on the X60 is a 2.4Ghz band and 5Ghz, the M9's have one 2.4Ghz and two 5Ghz bands.

I've bought similar mesh for my gaming rig downstairs.....still lots of latency for online gaming like Call of Duty. Ended up returning it and buying a Netgear Powerline adapter and now getting full 1GB connection on both my gaming rig and my living room TV (4k streaming). Just saying depending on the house/placement, Wifi can be a real bitch. For me, even $400 routers didn't fix my gaming latency but the $99 Powerline adapter solved it.

Update. Got google fiber set up. I am pulling 250 around the main hub with the google WiFi they provided. Set up the second google WiFi and getting about 60/70 at the second point. With the deco I am pulling more than twice this at the furthest end of the house so it's definitely an upgrade from the google WiFi. Though I'm still at about 250-300 near the wired main hub. Thought I'd be able to do a bit more wirelessly near the hub but don't think I'll need anything more than that on my phone and tablet anyways. I'm gonna take down the phone outlets and they have cat 5e so I'll replace those with Ethernet connectors. I'm gonna keep this for now and see if they are better with Ethernet backhaul
If you can do Ethernet backhaul, deco x60 is the best value in WiFi 6 mesh at its current price. I have it setup with wired backhaul and it's been flawless.
With wired backhaul you will get same internet speed at each units. It will definitely beat any wifi5 mesh system.

Yeah I'll try to Ethernet backhaul with other hub. But I just don't know why being close to the main hub I"m only getting 250-300 wireless. Maybe because it's just a 2x2 iphone and not a WiFi 6 client.

Same. I got this last week. My Dota and CSGO lag. But everything else works fine. Will try seperating the 2.4 and 5 ghz.

Anyone get thus fixed?

I'd personally wait for 6e since it's only a few months out at this point.

Avoid tplink if you plan to run a pihole

*Thumbs down is funny, tplink doesn't allow you to set an internal IP as the DHCP provided DNS you turd. You must be part of the CCP.

I bought a mesh network only to find that there is no smart hand off so my downstairs devices would connect upstairs etc. Also, my devices right next to the point would be on 2.4ghz instead of 5ghz. The whole thing is marketing, avoid these mesh home networking products.

I have the 6 units of M9, is it worth upgrading or mixing the x60 in for better performance? Have about 6000 sq ft to cover. Anyone? Thanks in advance

Bought these and returned them. Both my phone and laptop would randomly disconnect, and I got worse speeds between the nodes on these than when using my 2 Asus Blue Cave routers meshed together via AI-mesh.

YMMV of course, but just my 2 cents.

lolz. really? you really getting 1 GB throughput or just your either-net adapter says 1gb?
you would be lucky to get 300 Mbps over the crappy powerline adapter (and i have the top of the line netgear power line for years).i even measured powerline on the same power strip and i don't get anywhere near the advertised speed.

Is anybody concerned with TP-Link privacy policy. They collect all the information from your devices / web traffic.... You have to install their app to be able to use the mesh system. ( I assume that Google does the same with their mesh units).
Should I be concerned and go for just a powerful router/two routers?
That is very annoying.

Just bought the nest WiFi 4 pack and they are working solid. Covering my 3600 sqft house with just one nest router and a point. Remaining 2 points are unused. Any suggestions if I should return nest WiFi and buy this x60?
