Take pictures with this OneStep i-Type summer blue camera. The battery lasts up to 60 days, saving you from having to replace them frequently, and the high-quality lens lets you zoom in on subjects. This OneStep i-Type summer blue camera features an intuitive design for ease of use and prints photos on the spot for added convenience.

Contrary to popular belief, Polaroid film has always been expensive. The difference is today, people can essentially take unlimited photos for free, whereas back in Polaroid's heyday, people still had to pay for film rolls and development costs, which made the gap in cost a bit smaller.

This particular camera is one of the re-designs by the company that bought out Polaroid to save them from closing down. They have actually discontinued this model and have replaced it with their new Polaroid Now model, which just launched. That's probably why this one is on sale. That being said, this camera can do exactly the same thing as the new one, so if you want to pick up a new Polaroid camera, this is not a terrible deal.

Personally, I would opt to save up for the OneStep Plus model or an SX-70 folding model, but if you just want a basic point-and-shoot Polaroid, this will do the job.

One of these needs to exist with cheap film. But I guess they make most the money with the film. Just like printers

the price of the film is the number 1 reason i won't buy this. And I would really like it, too. but it's just expensive

Is this like an original Polaroid? Uses the same film you can't get anymore?

I have a much older model that has a screen and uses z-ink refills. I haven't tried it myself, but I've read you can save the little calibration sheet from your Polaroid packs and use them with HP branded refills... These can be purchased at ~$8 for a 20 pack, so 40 cents per photo.

Kinda irrelevant for this post I guess, but if you have your heart set on one of these cameras but are cheap af like me, that's probably a good way to go. The quality isn't insane on them and they're tiny (2x3 I think) but everyone absolutely loves them at parties, and we've gotten some really really crazy photos with them once everyone gets good and sauced.

No. Peel apart film is the one that they don't make anymore. These use i-Type or 600 Type
