I would not recommend the cordless Dewalt/Ryob/Bauer Dual Function air pumps After more research, the duty cycle for all 3 of these is 10 minutes on/20 minutes off. Multiple Amazon reviewers state that it takes these inflators 20 minutes to air up their ISUP. This will lead to premature failure.

It's all about CFM... That compressor would take an hour to blow up a sup.

I love my inflatable sup. Anything that makes it easier for people to get on the water is good in my book

what's the use for this beyond inflatable standup boards?
seems pricey for pool floats. guess SUP is sort of a niche need

I have this and use it for my inflatable dock. I suppose one could use it for an air mattress or pool toys. It has a high volume fan and as the pressure builds it moves to a more traditional compressor stage which is much slower but gets you to the PSI needed.

Why can't someone just use an air compressor like Sun Joe below to pump up Paddleboards?https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0777...kFbPPB2159

Been looking for one of these for my inflatable dock.

A standard air compressor does not work well for SUP style inflatables. I have been using a DeWalt one and it will only inflate it to about 1 or 2 psi.

Anyone use these for Kites...seems that the initial fan switch to compressor may work.

Not only that, but the retail price is what I paid for a legit 200 PSI / 1.86 CFM compressor from viair ((https://www.viaircorp.com/c-models/480c/) with self oiling/sealed operation. This is at least 10x weaker than that at best and viair is one of the most popular compressor manufacturers for decades.

I am using it to fill 5 gallon tanks with 200 psi though in a matter of two minutes.

If you got a truck, I'd look for a used one being sold and you'll be able to install it to your trunk and use air tools on the road though. Great for fixing flats and such on the side of the road. Personally I used it to power a set of Shocker 4 trainhorns. Rattles the ground.

Bud this is a completely different animal. 6 times the cfm and also does suction. The compressor you posted could be great but for someone with a SUP (what this is meant for) your compressor is not a good choice.

I have a battery powered ryobi inflator that can inflate car tires and pool/mattress. what makes this sup air pump better or different?

i'm thinking that ryobi one isn't as 'cool' but probably way better bang for the buck. plus you can inflate tires!
