Lowest price per 3 Cs - I have been watching this thing for over a year. I feed a feral that stops by my house numerous times a week, and in the cold CT winters, this, I'm hoping, will give him some warmth.

I'll bet $10 AGC that my cat will end up sleeping in the Amazon cardboard shipping box.
Single wide, psshh. My feral is high class and needs a double wide.
Should throw you outside

That was for the single-wide and only lasted for a few hours, so likely a mistake. On the double wide, according to Keepa, this is the lowest price by a big margin.

I have a couple of the single ones and they are awesome. They've held up great in the sun and the sheepskin-like stuff has gone in the laundry a dozen times and came out great. My cat loves the heated mat - it's run off USB, so it's simple enough to extend the cable. Also, it's easy to unzip the top to keep things clean.

My cats love their house... While it's inside The house. When I put it outside they will sit in the rain right beside it.

Do they sell evaporative cooling Kitty houses?
Or peltier cooled? I suspect a compressor would be too large.
I just had a thought:. Evaporative cooler would be the best choice in not consuming a lot of power and being cheaper to make, but so would to dig a 3-foot hole in the ground and put copper pipes or some radiator in the ground and pump it Up with a $20 water pump, to some other pipes or radiator on the house, to keep it chill in there.
Edit: after a little research, apparently although a 3-foot hole is a start, you really need at least 6 ft deep to get a better temperature differential. and now it becomes expensive because you have to rent some tools to dig it. Maybe if you had some sort of animal shelter kennels business, then digging a 10 to 15 foot hole is relatively cheap, to keep all those animals nice and cool. Hell, that would be a good selling point for vacancy.

cats need to be indoors if you want them to have a long life. but it is also important to build some sort of enclosed outdoor area for them cats, so they can run around, helping to reduce feline obesity.

Yeah, where they can decimate the local bird/lizard/small animal population as an invasive species...

Is feline obesity really a main motivator to let cats go outside? I always just did it for my cat's mental well being.

He can't get fat that way, he's strict paleo.
