So are they not worth 40 or are you just trying to get little children to get into your time machine?

I bought it at $50 and it was worth it then. The wind is very powerful yet gentle, and the updown/leftright oscillation is great. I've personally never seen it for $25 in my area so $40 is a great deal. In for another one!

If you compare these with a vornado for medium rooms, of course it's not as powerful. But when you want it to be on all night blowing on you, vornado is gonna be way too powerful and uncomfortable, not to mention most vornados don't oscillate. These woozoo do a much better job for sleeping.

It's worth 25. I barely had mine running for a week and I can hear it rattle on the 2 lower settings when it's going up/down. Left/right is quiet as a mug.

Are you sure you're not thinking of another model they have that doesn't oscillate or come with a remote, such as the HD18NU? It's on sale for $25 right now from Amazon [amazon.com]. Different product though.

The PCF-SC15T was on sale from Costco for $49.99 online & $45 in-store a few weeks ago. There was supposedly a phantom $15 off coupon that people couldn't find & verify, so it was very YMMV.

Yeah this person in a vornado thread posted a pic of their local costco having woozoo for $30 but it was def YMMV: https://slickdeals.net/f/14147570-vornado-633dc-energy-smart-medium-air-circulator-fan-with-variable-speed-control-85?p=138459392#post138459392
